- Compilation of some videos I took over the two days we spent riding around the Hatfield McCoy Trails. We stayed at Ashland Resort, it was a great experience and I would stay there again. We were on Pocahontas, Indian Ridge and Pinnacle Creek rail systems
Our first day we rode from Ashland Resort all the way to Pineville. We searched for the wild horses but did not find any, we did find the mineshaft rescue tunnel and the fans.
Second day we rode some outlaw trails north of the resort to a waterfall and stopped at Outlaw Bar & Grill. Then on our way to Flag Rock we came across 3 trees down and helped clear the way. - Авто та транспорт
Ooops another rolling beer cooler turtled on its back 😂
It’s on my Bucket List to go there and ride
Awesome riding! Thanks for sharing!
Shoutout to Captain Beard for being the best navigator!! You checked off all the sites on my list plus some! Thank you!
Happy to do it! I just like to complain along the way haha. See you guys next time!
Heading there this next week for the third time. Great places to ride!
Flag rock is a awesome place to see thats forsure ! The climb to the top of the rock definitely isnt that easy though...lol
It was a challenge but well worth it!
I would love to drive on that trail there
My pro r on 35s would have never cleared that fallen tree lol great video and beautiful spot.
Thank you for the comment!
At 5:13 is where you throw the bodies, I am planning a trip out there this fall, what are the must hit areas?
Flag rock just north of Ashland Resort is a really awesome place and you can hit up Outlaw Bar & Grill on the way there. If you go north west from there to Pineville, that's where you will find the mineshaft rescue tunnel and the wild horses in that area. There is so much to see out there you can't really go wrong. I use the BobT maps with Back Country Nav Pro and it has everything marked out really nice.
This maybe a stupid question but what’s the deal with the bag hanging off the back of the sxs, is it for garbage ?
yes sir its called a Sak-It. Just a good way to keep trash off the trails
0:19 how to get there from ashland resort if you know or the trail head?
This was a pretty far ride that took all day to get there from ashland resort. I dont remember the trail numbers but it was North West of ashland.
What is the location of the hill climb in the very beginning of the video?
This is just south of the mineshaft / fans at pineville. If your looking at a map its part of a green trail that leads to the mineshaft.
What section of Hatfield's is the mine shafts at ,we want to find those the next time we go
The mine rescue shaft is just south of Pinesville. I used the BOBT maps to find it, its marked out really well and was easy to find.
