About the Game
Dark and Light is a reboot of the 2006-2008 developed game by NPCube with the same title. In this fantasy sandbox survival MMORPG, players will have the power to change their claimed land and ecosystem with magic. One of the core elements of the game will be the conflicts inbetween the human society and the environment. Players will have to fight for their survival and during explorations of the game world.

This game, so much potential, soo much work, soo many ideas that is used in other games, so many devs just give up

A couple of weeks ago I reinstalled this game on one machine and installed a private LAN server on another. Still love this game. Been playing it on and off since then. Thanks for showing this game off again.

Me 2 😧 I think when they started altering the time spectrums for how long you could be logged out before your house would be demolished took a 1 month break and when I logged in again my base and my mounts fire dragon,Gryphons and Elite Gryphon and a lot more 😑 when all what you worked so hard for and homeless at around lvl 100+ something and back to square one I was like “Oh hell no!!! I’m done” 🤣 but still miss it and think it’s a shame it got abandoned by the developers 😕
We need to petition for Epic Games to pick up this game and throw a small team on it.

My friend just got me this game, i read that it was abandoned and i thought I was entering a broken boring game. I was so proven wrong. Makes me beyond sad that it's abandoned, i wish they'd at least give out the keys to the game so that modders can continue to work on it. Or even better, come back and continue to work on it themselves

Surprised I never heard of this game. Its a shame the developers abandoned it. The mechanics look nice for a 2006 game. It looks like it might have been a little ahead of its time. I look forward to seeing more!
This came out in 2017 though but imagine Ark with magic. the final thing they did was certain items don't drop on death but instead take damage made the game lots better but then the hackers happened heard the devs gave control to some guys who raided your base without even breaking into it, walk through the walls and just break your storage.
@@princeking1562 it originally came out in the early 2000's but flopped. This idea was relaunched by snailgames using the same assets from Ark, it was kinda just a reskinned Ark. But it was fun.

Sadly no, we run a server at times for the game and only get a few people in.

not sure if it could be done like the community from h1z1 did (still working on it) but people outside from the company are working on re-creating the game. could be cool if there where some smart people that was willing to try fix it for bugs and making it modable. would have been awesome i loved this game back in the old days 1k hours of play time. i would for sure return if someone fixed it :D
is there any info on the re-creation of the game? a discord group or just a site explaining and showing off the situation and progress?
@@aaronbertram763 sorry but i think you mis understood its the re-creation of H1Z1 not this game, i just explained that people doo these sort of things and i wished they would doo it to our wonderfull "Dark and light"
@@The4270michael Oh alright my bad! Yea i thought you meant that someone was re-creating this game and i got super curious! I do hope in the future that the game gets remade somehow because of all the potential that’s left to wither away with time
I could live with the devs abandoning this game nut not even leaving it open to modders to finish their abandoned game is horrible; it had soooo much potential
You know what the devs did instead of fixing this game? They made it a mobile game. With the same bugs. Just wanted to get more money off their failed game instead of fixing up the PC one which players still play (albiet not a lot of players)..or heck, even just selling the game to another company/group/outsourcing the game to the community to fix..well they will not ever do that nor do they want to. The mobile game is just there to take in more money before ultimately shuttering the whole thing. Just like Pixark, Atlas and all their other abandoned games.
It is really frustrating since this game had so many cool things!!
@@TBFGaming I loved playing it so much. I went back to Ark, but DnL had its own unique charm that I liked more than Ark, and that can never be replaced.

The intro music is either Adventures by A Himitsu or...ummm will have to look it up, but it is off UA-cam copyright free music.

oi devs of Dark and Light, un-abandon the game since it has many potential ye lot. show some respect to people who enjoy the game. otherwise u abandon the game, u abandoned the the fans who enjoy it which will make a backlash sooner or later
