There's something special about phly. Is his ability to be chill and realize it's a game. Mad respect. He says "good job" and doesn't even rage.

I believe that the reverse speed is so fast because it implemented a hybrid motor in the reverse gears
The entire thing is petrol electric. Which means forward or reverse, the petrol power charges the electric motors. This tank and a few other Porsche Tiger prototypes were turned into the Ferdinand tank destroyer, the ones that so famously caught fire
Fun fact when the Tiger II was being drawn up Porsche wanted to use petrol electric again but they told him off because 1 massive failure was enough for even the nazis :D

Anyone agree with a new F6F-5 video? it got moved down to 3.3 from 3.7, and the HVAR's now fire 1 at a time instead of in tandem. 2 1000 LB bombs and 6 HVAR's at 3.3 = a lot of fun for low tier CAS. I love it a lot and would love to see Phlop play it : )

If I'm right about the technology, it can technically go as fast backwards as it can go forward, because, the combustion engine, serves as a generator for the electric motor driving the tracks, and so they don't care wich way they spin

Actually, I once got killed by a jumbo (can't remember if it was a 75 or 76 but probably a 76) shooting at the commander's coppola. It's another weakspot that people don't know about even though it disables pretty much everything in the turret in one shot.

@@azmanabdula tru, if your aim is even a bit off and you accidentally hit the side of the coppola its gonna ricochet... which is why I dont suggest it but if your out of options may aswell go for it

U know what tank lineup I really love playing? The m6a1 4.7 lineup with the 4.7 76 sherman. Such a powerful gun for the br now especially after all the recent br changes. Theres almost nothing you cant easily one shot even in uptiers. And the m6a1 with 2 primary guns is so clutch. Even tho for a heavy the armour on the m6 isnt great it still catches a lot of people off guard because it has so many weird surfaces that bounce rounds and people dont know where to shoot it. Then I take some AA and like 4 planes and just absolutely go to town some games racking up 15 kills with very little effort. I have a feeling these tanks with the american 76 will get moved up to 5.0+ eventually
Phly put the first game in the video to really show that it doesn't matter if you're a streamer, content creator, or just a normal player. At the end of they day, we all get Gaijined.
Love this tank! Ive so often stopped the whole enemy team. Tanking shots and fight 3 tanks at once is super fun. IMO the best premium tank.
I agree just picked it up in the sales cos i loved it in World of tanks, Ive played like 4 games with like 25 kills between the tiger and the premium do 335

Fun fact about the panthers. , If you shoot at the gunners port on the left hand side on the hull with any thing 76 mm plus, its a weak spot not many people know about
Just remember the jumbo is 6.3 and fights leopards, m4a3 is 5.7, and all the Pershings got moved up in BR while this thing is 5.7 :)

the missiles go through ERA protected tanks but then you shoot something with just steel as armor and it doesnt go through. also, the armor isnt trolly. it just doesnt work.

That one jumbo knew what to do and shot your cupola. Because even the Ferditiger has the cupola weak spot. I love to go there on any Tiger who's acting overly sure of their armor. That alone is why the Tiger E is 5.7 because it eliminates that weak point lol.

I like this tank, but it's one of those tanks that is very situational dependent. It can be very tricky to get a good game in it, and it's not even really worth taking out in up-tiers. It's a beast in down tiers though. Just try not to get flanked!
I like to drive it backwards, you have the same speed but you are imune to aphe because the shell explode way before reach any crew. No one uses that idk why
The players who are well versed in the game know that the Tiger I P has the same cupola weak point and the angled spots on the sides of the upper front plate just like the M6A1 heavy. So it definitely has it's weak spots and I get why it's no higher than the regular Tiger in that sense. But it's also got better reverse and double front armor, I do question why it isn't on par with the Tiger E sometimes. I always notice a Tiger I P personally so they're not a huge shock to me. And a handful of vehicles can still get through the 204mm plate at 5.3 but not many. The Challenger with APDS and PT-76 are a few I can think of from the top of my head.
@@johneurich8747 i saw someone doing this in a game years ago with the prototype tiger P, the non-premium marketplace/event only version, all gray painted one without the 200mm on the front, and they did exceedingly well. i gave it a go in the 200mm frontal plate version and it worked just as good, the engine just absorbs everyones shots! it works great until you run out of fire prevention equipment :(

@@doknezdoknez1678 Maybe it's a skill issue, all I know is it's one of my lowest K/D tanks. 1-1, which is terrible by my standards. Most other mid tier German tanks I'm 3 or 4-1. Something about it just doesn't mesh with my play style.

Could you try playing this thing while driving in reverse? Not only is it fast in reverse, but the amount of engine at the back reminds me of old IS-1 days where you would drive backwards and eat all the fragments with the engine. Maybe fun to try if it works for this thing.

One time in this bad boy on white rock fortress I sat up on a wall over near their spawn (in a hull down position) and I racked up 18 kills with 1 death and bounced sooooo many shots, then I got in the Do-335 and racked up another 6 kills. I had like 4K SP, it was probably my best game ever. Power of the premium player

the beefwagen is a funky tank, whenever I encounter it in anything other than the IS2, there's a sense of doom
Try bringing the ISU-122 or ISU-152 as the first has the same pen as the IS-2 while the other has 250mm of pen

The Panzerbefehlswagen VI P was originally one of the few Porsche Tigers(VK 45.01 (P)) and the only Porsche Tiger to actually see combat. Armed with the deadly 8.8cm Kwk 36 L/56 Cannon installed in the very recognizable Tiger I Krupp Turret, it was converted into a Command vehicle and was a complete one off, as all the other Porsche Tigers we're converted into other vehicles. The existing 91 hulls of the Porsche Tiger were converted into Ferdinand Tank Destroyers at first but 48 of the 50 surviving Ferdinands were recalled in late 1943 and converted into Elefant Tank Destroyers. Other variants include 3 Bergepanzers which were Tank Recovery Vehicles with little to no armament and another variant were the 3 RammTiger prototypes, a battering ram tank supposedly with extremely thick frontal armor and armed with multiple machine guns, yet the project was shut down in late 1943 and the 3 existing RammTigers were lost. The Porsche Tiger also had a great reverse speed due to being somewhat of a hybrid, Gasoline Engine-Electric Motor driven, meaning the Gasoline Engines would charge Electric Generators which powered the Electric Motors(Good ol German Complexity). It could reverse just as fast as it could accelerate forward. Also notably, the Porsche Tiger had a front mounted Turret design whereas the Henschel Tiger had a mid mounted turret. The Panzerbefehlswagen VI P also had more modern long range radios and extra crew to better serve as a command tank. It served with Panzerjäger Abteilung 653 from April 1944 until July 1944 when it was destroyed in combat.
The amount of times that thing has almost caught me off guard when playing with the Sherman. All I would say is that I will see your 200mm tiger and raise you one apds firing bulldog.

Phlop you should really try the mig 27k. With the new laser guidance it is literally a Mach 1 helicopter. Also with the new buff to chaff against aa it is amazing.

Engine overheats, motor overheats, motor burns out, batteries discharge, tank breaks down. Given that the Befehlswagen is even heavier than the regular one, it'd be even more prone to mechanical problems. German suffering ensues.

Did Phly not realize how weak the sides of the front where those flat plates are at is? Like I always shoot there first or the cupola if its hull down and its almost always a 1 shot for anything non british/swedish
That T34-85 at the end probably plays WoT. Pretty common for people to aim there for kills.
I like the third pronounciation type best, sounds good. But your german is getting better!
