BLACK COLLEGE DAY -- Racial separatism never has been the driving force of Black Colleges. Clearly, these schools were not the evil the Brown versus Board of Education Supreme Court decision sought to eradicate. Emphatically, they were the product, not the cause of the evil identified in the Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court decision, that is, the exclusion of Black students from White institutions of higher learning.
