Beautiful aircraft. They need one with a 'Westphalia Interior' like the old VW bus for family camping. On floats she would be the perfect travel and recreation aircraft.
Hello. Where would the optional Garmin GWX 75 flat-plate radar element be mounted on the airplane, please? Not in the nose, so inside the optional cargo pod, maybe? Thank you.
Wheels to floats & back is very straight forward and very little downtime. The External Cargo Compartment is not made to be removed regularly. Both of these actions need to be completed by a licensed AME.
It's pretty much a copy of the Cessna Caravan wing, and Cessnas are usually pretty stall resistant. I am a noob, so take whatever I said with a pinch of salt
@@KodiakAircraft "We" have a new (with 2 patents) Par-36 LED landing light with 325,000 Candela = (Candlepower) and 11,000 Lumens out the front output. It will outperform your current Osram/ Precise Flight Par-36 35 watt HID's. They output only about 3000 Lumens and at best 200,000 Candela. Our LED light distribution is also more even over the entire same beam angle as your current HID. Our Lux numbers prove true useful light performance out to 1/2 mile (1/2 Lux out at 1/2 mile). Please respond here and we can send Certified lab data to absolutely substantiate these claims. We will also attempt to contact Daher shortly with our documented performance data. There are NO other LED products currently on the worldwide market even close to this performance level for this form factor, out of a PAR 36. Most Par-64 (8 inch diameter) aviation 200+ watt LED's only can currently have similar performance numbers (250,000 to 400,000 CD) to our PAR-36. We also have certified Lab testing results for FAA RTCA DO160-G testing a major hurdle for certified aviation acceptance.
Wish my pocket are deep right now. I can buy at least 3 units and donate them to the Australia outback town. 1 for Search and rescue, 1 for postal and cargo delivery and last one will be use as passengers travel or medevac transport. 😕😔🥺
Greetings. The kodiak 100 series 3 seems to me an excellent very versatile aircraft, however I think it lagged a bit behind in terms of improvements that are already available incredible in the manufacturing company itself. 1. FADEC control 2. Radar embedded in the wing profile. 3. AUTOTHROTTLE. 4. wingles on the wingtips. 5. Homesafe. 6. Garmin 3000. 7. 5-sword propellers. Undoubtedly, these improvements would help performance, safety, and range. It sure comes in the next 4. series with better aerodynamics and performance.
This is the most gorgeous plane ever. The simplicity, the aesthetics, the technology all combined into one. This is a work of art!
Thank you for the nice comment!
Great looking aircraft, definitely gonna be a long term goal for me to own one of these
This came to me as a UA-cam recommendation via MSFS2020 and Ryan Farran, aka Missionary Bush Pilot. Kodiak needs to give Ryan a big shout out.
WELL........ I want one..... the trip and camp out at Oshkosh would be so cool.... throw in a few stops in the Outback of Utah....... WOW.
Yep...another reason to work harder...making dreams and affirmations reality 😎
wow wow wow
Badass airplane

That craig craviotto looks like Eminem😂😂
Oustanding!
oooohhh!! AHHHHH!!! I love flying this plane in XPlane11.....more fun than a Caravan.

Where’s the wheel pants option ????
Kodiak 900
Wonder if G3000 will ever be an option in a Kodiak?
I don't know why, the kodiak word remind me of the camera negative film company.
i got this plane on flight simulator 2020
Is switching from wheels to floats difficult? Same question for storage pod. Can these changes be made by pilots / owners.

Quem e o Representante parabo Brasil ?.
What makes this wing shape stall resistant?
It's pretty much a copy of the Cessna Caravan wing, and Cessnas are usually pretty stall resistant.

Ideal para Brasil Pistas Curtas Fazendas gostaria de Conhecer a Fabrica da Kodiak e receber Material de Markting T Shirts Bones Adesivos !
Too bad that this aircraft does not have pressurization.
of course it's safe when you copy a proven structural design
👍🇬🇾
No emergency auto land like the TBM?
No
The Autoland system is currently only available in the G3000 suite.
Don’t you mean a HIGHER zero fuel weight?
Are the 2 landing lights still HID and the 2 Taxi lights incandescent at both wingtips ? Or did they switch to all LED Landing and Taxi ?
The Kodiak 100, Series III is all LED lights, except the landing light is a HID for maximum visibility and field serviceability.

Espectacular este avión
Dear Santa... 🥰✈
Why the hell are they reading from a paper and acting like they have gun pointing towards them offscreen? Wtf
These are not professional actors or broadcasters, they build airplanes. I think they did a fine job of talking about this airplane.

Fadec single lever control
it's possible that since it's a bush plane they wanted pilot more control over rpm
