- This time, I took a picture of carving the rafters from the carving process of the [National Qualification] 1st grade carpenter technician task (trial task) that was changed in 2024.
The most difficult part of this task is the hole in the bulbul plug that I will introduce this time.
The direction of the hole is difficult to understand, the direction of the wood fiber is complicated, and the angle is steep, so there are quite a few peculiarities from rough digging to finishing digging.
Also, because the parts are small, it is difficult to maintain a proper working posture, and there is a high risk of injury if you overdo it.

The distribution part has a short tenon joint, but it has a slope that makes it difficult to cut with a hand saw, so I had to poke it with a chisel to finish it.
Among the carving work, carving the rafters requires a special amount of time, so it is recommended that you practice individually.

私も垂木加工してみましたが、ヒヨドリ栓の穴掘り結構時間かかっちゃいますね。
ドリルの角度難しくて、効果的に穴掘りできないから鑿の使用時間が多くなって時間かかる感じです。
側面につけた長玄勾配に合わせながら水平線を意識して開けてみてください。
僕も終わった材を引きわって32mm材を作り、10発くらい開けてやっとまともに空くようになった感じです。
