I have enjoyed him in 3:00 all of the roles I've seen him play. He is quite versatile even though he looks so nerdy. (I like nerds, don't get me wrong.) 🙂 His emotional range in acting is impressive.

I was surprised to hear the word "retarded" since is not politically correct in 2023. I think both actors who are 'slow' did a great job and didn't overact.
Retarded was actually a medical diagnosis back then. There were no negative connotations attached to it in the medical world. The definition of the word retarded is slow so from my perspective there is no difference, sadly the term developed a derogatory connotation.
I still think this was a great show. I wonder why they didn't do a remake of the show? And yes, now adays the word retarded is against political correctness and all that jazz. They have a right to be amongst the crowd and become one with the public. And if you don't like it...leave!
