- How Minecraft RTX Destroyed My PC... Minecraft Ray Tracing for Bedrock Beta (Windows 10, Xbox, etc.) was released today by Nvidia, so I decided to revisit an old Java video I tried to make last year on Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Ray Tracing Shaders (SEUS PTGI). I ran the ultra realistic path tracing shaders with the Umsoea Ultra Realistic texture pack, the Ultimate Immersion photorealistic resource pack and Modern Interiors mod. I really wanted to find out whether or not Minecraft RTX Ray Tracing was overhyped for a hardcore survival playthrough, and had a lot of fun making this RTX gameplay video! Hope you enjoy.

@@PizzaInSpace cleaning the filters, they should be behind or Infront the fans. Also if you don't have a 200 plus watt gpu, and have a decent air cooling setup, you don't have to worry about explosions.

2:19 this got me crying inside. in 2018 my brother brought an dell optiplex 390 i expected it to be fast. but it turns out it had this i3 2400 3.30ghz from 2011. my parents tried to make me happy by getting 2 4 Gigabytes of RAM and a AMD Radeon HD 7450 series i was happy for a while until it felt slow
so i decided to overclock it without any regrets. i wanted shaders to run smoothly but my dream never came true. I kept overclocking over and over again until I messed with some settings, hoping for my PC to become fast. instead I caused a automatic repair loop 3 times a row.
I was tired of my PC so I decided to install some high end shaders
the most "realistic" resource pack crashed my game on purpose. I am now hoping to get a 2013 gpu
after that, my brother brought a budget gaming pc with a 560ti core i5-3470 cpu 3.20ghz 16gb ram 500gb hdd another 500gb hdd
and then... my irl dream started .
my brother said "you can use my pc but dont mess with my pc" my mind was waiting for this to happen turns out that with shaders and resourse packs it can run 3-1 fps (64 chunks) and 20-1 fps (2 chunks) 400-1000fps (with optifine) and
300-900fps with no mods

Sunday/17th of July/ 11:17 AM : my brother got a new motherboard, and a new GPU. it was a RX 470. as of now, this has two 4GBs of RAM, (equal to 8GBs (GigaBytes) of memory) and the GPUs GDDR RAM is around 2GBs

2023/02/02: everythings fine so far but one of my 4gb ram sticks are failing. my computer is becoming as terrible as my chromebook.
3/7/23:my computer broke and i broke my chromebook. now im stuck with my tablet. to be honest, I feel that my phone is miles/kilometers superior to my chromebook. fortunately, my computers fixed although im back to a hard drive so its unbearably slow. as im writing this, it finally loaded chrome after being open for 3-7 minutes. i pray to god that everything gets better for my family, and my technology. @@juiceboxer It's not possible to run raytracing on CPU integrated graphics unless they were to come out with CPU integrated graphics that have tensor cores. No doubt his power supply went rogue.
Andy's IMO's ptgi is path tracing I never said it’s ray tracing. Although path tracing is a type of ray tracing, it’s basically the same but not well optimized. And Java is more cpu based

I still wonder what exactly happened. Was it the cooling or just the motherboard not able to handle it? But usually there are safeties build in to stop overheating, cpu too. Maybe it was more of an issue of all of these at once. Hope he managed to save his drives though.

During the development of this shader, many of Umsoea's subscribers joked that he stole a NASA PC to run SEUS PTGI shader in Minecraft. This is a reference to such comments.
i know that 99% of people dont give a damn, but rtx and raytracing aren't the same thing, rtx is nvidias name they gave their rtx capable gpus (a form of raytracing nvidia made) and the raytracing shaders you're using are freshly programmed and work across multiple gpu brands.
