Awesome quality restoration!
I had a 1973 3.0 CSI. Brought it to LA from Milan Italy for $1,000, including shipping from Antwerpen. It was awesome. But it got totaled in a wreck. I’d love to get another one but the cost is just too high for me.

To be a brutal, its a repair and respray - and a rebuild of the motor. Hardly a "restoration" in the true sense of the word. It was in quite good condition to start with.
Restoration word doesnt mean total break down and rebuild. You can restore just paint and call it a restoration. Conditioning means you dont add anything you just make whats already there better.
And i replied before watching you dont think its a restoration. I would love to see what you call a restoration.
It was a bare metal restoration with every bit of hardware new. Every piece of metal refinished. Every piece of bright work polished or plated. There was not a spec of paint on the body/chasis. Everything has been refinished or is new and it received many awards. So to say it is hardly a restoration when it was a complete restoration including the instruments, engine, transmission, and differential. All new.
Should've found a way to clone/resurrect the designer of this classically beautiful car. I owned an immaculate '89 E24 635CSi and ALL the later models of the 6-series look like sh*t compared to it.
And this car? even better than my "shark" !
