  • Ok this is a big one and what the last video was building up towards - events! For people familiar with my triggers from EE this is equivalent to delegates however I have managed to overcome a lot of the annoyances and limitations of those here. I start with covering a simple example where I use an event to quickly create a shop for each player for units that deploy in different locations based on the player. After that I show off a much more complex example where I used events to make a shop system where you can define items in terms of a name, cost, description, icon, UI location, and finally what to do when purchased. The system takes care of the rest for you allowing you to quickly build a shop using the ingame UI rather than the traditional move to system.
