You should try to do a braid out or twist out . Wash your hair , apply your leaving conditioner, mousse or gel etc then braid your hair like u would when u get box braids. Let it fully dry and then put braid it . I have 4c type hair and I deal with shrinkage and my curls are on the tighter side. I do a braid out to help keep moisture in my hair and to help my curls from shrinkage well keeping my curls nice a define.

Mini you said you want to cut your hair short but the shrinkage is to short😂😂 you funny😂😂!!!!❤
Perm rods do best if you sit under the hair dryer. You may get the results you were looking for after that. The heat takes away some of the frizz and it also makes sure your roots are dry.

That blue skims set was so cute on you !!! And I’m the same way with my brows too !! Omg i hate when they chop my tail off. You should have blow dryer it the set them on the rods!!!!❤ but it's cute u just have to get use to your natural hair style instead of wearing wigs and I stalls.❤

Hey girl! So you you did a few things wrong. My girl said at 26:26 “I don’t follow directions” lol you should use a foam! Foams are the goat with styles like this. Second, your hair must be completely dry. Like dry dry. Wet or even damp hair will not turn out right. So baby if it feels damp, get back under that dryer lol. It sometimes take 1-2 hours for it to dry underneath the dryer. It’s not recommended to let rod sets air dry. Lastly, this style will always look shorter than your normal length. If you don’t like shrinkage braid outs, twist outs and flat twist outs might be your go to. It takes some time to appreciate your natural hair but once you learn your hair it’ll get a lot easier ❤️
I vote natural styles all day! ❤ It's a really nice look on you and gives a nice edge of maturity but in a different look/style. I'm sure with some practice you will ace doing your natural styles!❤ I give it 👍🏾👍🏾!
