I could never afford to go to college and learn this.. So thank you for providing this! P.S.. How many people want to see an "Epic Rap battle of History" against Chris Hansen and Keith Morrison?? Shoutout to production, who understood the vital importance of keeping Scott in top right, Greg in top left, Chase in bottom left, Mark in bottom right.
Fantastic episode! I've worked with some incredibly insightful child and teen survivors of SA. One teen girl noted: " You shouldn't talk to kids about good touch and bad touch, because sometimes touch that is bad actually feels good." I immediately adjusted my vocabulary to "appropriate" and "inappropriate" touch!
There was a neighbor that would grab me and want to hold me with his hands always touching my chest or crotch, I was 6. I told my mom I didn’t want to sit on his lap because I didn’t like the way he touched me and she told me not to be nasty. So I taught my boys that if someone makes them feel uncomfortable they should tell me. I also never forced them to hug or kiss, family or friends.
Good for you! And I’m sorry your mom didn’t listen to you. A mom should always give their kid the benefit of the doubt when they say something like that.
I think the current parents are much more aware of consent than our parents were. My parents were super afraid of offending others, and we now know the dangers of that.
Yes! The not forcing your kids to hug and kiss people goodbye is so important. I, too remember being handled weirdly by distant cousins as a kid. The Greek side of my family was all about kissing and hugging…I taught my kids that it isn’t rude to politely refuse. It can be cultural and difficult but keeping our kids safe and feeling comfortable is most important. 🤍
tzok09 - Remember the "good touch, bad touch" maxim. This is what I had told my son while he was a child. I also am sorry you had experienced this. My mom also didn't believe me, so when I was raped twice at 15, molested by a female so-called friend and molested for years by my older brother - I never told her nor anyone else. It's an ultimate betrayal. Listen to your children and believe them when they have the courage to speak to you because it does take a heck of a lot of courage.
I just want to thank Mark for pointing out that most whom have suffered abuse don't themselves become abusers. It is vital that survivers are not being stigamtised or labeled dangerous in order to speak out or speak up.
There was a survey of predators in prison and they admitted to lying about being abused as children for sympathy ie to manipulate. It is a myth that victims become abusers, the truth is 12% of the population has this predilection. How many act on it? Scary.
For someone who has been watching you guys from the beginning… I’m so so happy to see your channel growing. Have introduced lots of friends to you guys and seeing you with Hansen… an amazing guy that’s actually saving people is such a feeling 😊
I like the way chase worded what to say to kids about secrets "If an adult tells you to keep a secret, something is very wrong, and you should be scared of that adult" rather than 'you need to tell me' (or another trusted adult)
Not exactly. I was at a friend’s house and their child asked me about “Why does the dishwasher make all that noise?” I said “There’s a small dog in every dishwasher that washes the dishes.” The child looked surprised and bewildered. I laughed and said “It’ll be our little secret and don’t worry the dog is not dead.” So that’s an example of saying to a child a secret without being a disgusting creep. The child is now 13 years old and he told me “I stopped believing in what adults tell me since you mentioned the dog in the dishwasher when I was 6 or something.” Anyway, that’s my story.
Entire Caifornia school system under the new law, school staff are not required to tell parents what they're doing with their kids, regarding "below the equator." I commented on that news story that that person is known as a predator.
I've just watched this on Chris Hansen's channel because I'm impatient. The audacity of these monsters when they're caught is almost unbelievable, yet we know what they're saying is not what's happening. Shocking. It's a perfect way to open our eyes to the threats real life monsters like Greg said in plain sight just looking for a victim. How Chris hansen remains calm is wild! Holy smokes!!! Loved seeing you all collab 🫶
We all know that even in cultures where fathers and brothers deal with people who abuse their children, there is still rampant CA. The grant funding that the war on drugs, WEF, WHO and ESG receives in North America shows how little value children have in our tax funded governance that is tasked to ensure citizen safety and our border security.
To the final advices I would add: Do not force your child into hugging or kissing adults if they are uncomfortable with that! They need to know that they have every right to listen to their guts and feelings, and refuse to any adult. Teach them that trusting their guts and feelings are more important than “being nice”.
The collaboration we all needed but didn’t know it! ❤. This is soooooo good! Really love that you guys are getting recognized for your expertise and can’t get enough of your videos! ❤😁
Armie was at Piers'? 😯 I wanted to suggest Ashley Benefield just for funsies, or the secret service hearings but Armie Hammer coming out to do an interview is way more interesting.
Fascinating show, and, Scott, I APPLAUD you for advising parents to pay attention to the body language of their children when other people come into the room! Kids may often not have words or confidence about feelings but their bodies, their limbics, will speak for them. (Also, quickie, Mark, your hair is looking good!) Love to all of you! Thanks for another good show!
The "I didn't even do anything" complaint crops up a lot with accused shoplifters-they always say, "But I didn't even leave the store!" People really need to read up on the laws they plan to try to break.
Great video Chris! Great job by the panel fellas too. It's awful to think about the danger young girls could facein these scenarios! My baby girl is in her 30's now so I'm not so worried, but my granddaughter is only 6!

Please do the Kimberly Cheatle hearing/fiasco? After this Hansen vid, I believe ppl really would tune in to see that. Her body language was very interesting.
Tremendous episode, guys! I hope you have Chris back many more times. The importance of keeping predators off of the streets can scarcely be overstated. While the threat of serial sex offenders is the more widespread problem, the possibility of one of them being either a serial killer or someone who kills after panicking, such as when a child cries, tries to escape, or threatens to reveal the crime. Keep up the great work.
I respect and appreciate what you are doing here. I have enjoyed your perspective on both of your channels. Perhaps it is your integrity that has drawn you to shine a light on the actions of certain people. I don't know but you have taken great care to evaluate each topic with level thought as well as humor. It is upsetting how dangerous it can be to share opinions openly these days.I look forward to all of your great work in the future even if I may disagree with you from time to time. Although that has not happened yet. 😊
I just happened to come across this show with all of you on TruBlu yesterday or the day before. That's an insane coincidence, lol. It was a great show, and as always, Chris Hansen performed excellent interviews. Yes, I've been watching him since the early years of To Catch A Predator. I think I've been with you guys since you started too, lol
I think Chris was, perhaps unconsciously, avoiding asking Chase to talk. I think Chris may have felt somewhat threatened by Chase's reputation. Chase, of course, picked up on that and towards the end he began to ask Chris questions in order to defuse himself as a rival.
It is scary that a drugged out predator is installing alarm systems in people’s homes. I would hope I would send him away if he came to put an alarm system in my house. Creepy.
It takes an unimaginable amount of self control & restraint to sit across from people like Juan - I couldn’t do it without doing something illegal. Things like him don’t deserve prison, it’s far too luxurious.
Thank you Mark for underlining that those abused mostly do not go on to abuse others. When i remembered what happened to me, it became a huge fear of mine that there was an evilness left in me which had been guiding my education and career choices under the radar. I feel compelled to say this- if your kid knows another kid who is overtly s3xual, please inquire about details and then report it if it’s disturbing. I was VERY inappropriate with my friends when I was 7+, and I even touched one of them because I thought that’s what you do when you like ppl, and didn’t realize it was wrong until my teacher wouldn’t allow me near him anymore. I remember my dad watching p0rn in front of me and my sister says he made her touch him but I don’t personally recall physical abu$e. But what I was exposed to clearly was pretty bad considering how I acted. 7 year olds don’t do that stuff unless something is happening around them behind closed doors.
When I was in my 30s I suddenly remembered the sexual abuse I had as a child from a babysitter’s husband at 5 years old. I was about to confirm all the surrounding details with my parents: Houston. Red head named Rusty. Had a Mustang car. His house was to the left of us. His couch was under a huge glass window. His wife left me with him when she went shopping. 1971. It’s the reason I still vomit on the foam produced from my toothpaste at the back of my mouth.
Did anyone else see how Chris Hansen tried to put Chase in his place right from the start? He never did go to Chase for the next clip. Chris Hansen sees Chase as a threat! I would like to see a profile on Chris Hansen! What would that reveal?
I don’t think he’s insecure, no reason to be. It’s his show, he’s in charge, and he knows and admires TBP. I did notice he didn’t go to Chase like he said-but he gave him a lot of time later. It’s possible Chris had a plan to ask to ask specific questions of each-and after all it was Scott who said Chase knew about the technique.
And it sounds particularly odd coming from Chris, with his perfect speech and articulation haha! *Or probably more like his tone and pronunciation. Either way, not a funny subject but funny to hear him say this graphic stuff!
This was so excellent! Informative! Every parent and grandparent needs to see this. You guys are great. I always learn something from you. You are each very dynamic speakers. Not one of you is my favorite. You’re all my favorite Behavior Dude.
Poor Scott doesn't like not being the one who calls on people lol. He tries in the beginning with "Ya know... Chase is really good with that bait question!!!" And Hanson politely shuts him DOWN. "Well we can come back to Chase a little later but first..." I cringed for my boy. Don't worry Scott nobody will ever take your job just a one off lol

Did anyone else see how Chris Hansen tried to put Chase in his place right from the start? He never did go to Chase for the next clip. Chris Hansen sees Chase as a threat! I would like to see a profile on Chris Hansen! What would that reveal?
Ha! I just read your comment and said basically the same thing above.
One of my favorite episode! I thoroughly enjoyed this collaboration. Great work and educational, as always.
When he yelled, that was narcissistic fury because he was losing control of the situation
I admire ppl who fight for children’s safety.
I could watch these 5 guys over and over and over..maybe other crimes too..I love Chris and Keith
Who's Keith?
His "stupid little feed" popped up with a se&ua1 ad because his feed knows what he likes to see.
Great collaboration.😎Enjoyed so much 🎉❤❤❤❤❤
I LOVE THIS...GREAT INSIGHT!!
God bless you and your families
Oh my god...when he started reading the guy's text to the "girl"...graphic!
And it sounds particularly odd coming from Chris, with his perfect speech and articulation haha!
*Or probably more like his tone and pronunciation. Either way, not a funny subject but funny to hear him say this graphic stuff!
Wow. Chris Hansen...the prince of vigilante justice. Great interview! I love the 'have a seat' phrase....when the predator becomes prey 😂
the best line however is "you're free to go" and then they walk out the door and are taken down by 4 cops
This was so excellent! Informative! Every parent and grandparent needs to see this. You guys are great. I always learn something from you. You are each very dynamic speakers. Not one of you is my favorite. You’re all my favorite Behavior Dude.
Chris Hansen is the GOAT.
Awesome crossover!
Great info. Thank you 🙏
I love this guy. He is made for this job. Aside from the four of you he’s excellent at what he does.
This was excellent! Loved the advice at the end for our kids❤
