Your presentation was well done Mrs. Fox, I was with MK from 1993 till 2001 when I got severly sick with an immune deficiency I went from an $400 wholesale order ending in $5000 in retail quarterly I took my business SERIOUSLY... I was a recluse but MK helped me open up to communicate with other ladies and men as well.

When I say I loved doing facials and makeup I had to of coarse over come the ones that said no, but it was like it not pushed me I wanna say, sometimes people do say no, but I then started challenging myself and it's all about your customer and how to make her happy!!! Girl Mary Kay really broke me out of my "SHYNESS ZONE". My only thing was asking people if they like doing what I do.. I tried a few times but I would like shy away from that!!

Yup! You have confirmed and explained this so well❤. People who complain about this business has CLEARLY never built a company from the ground up. As soon as I read the contract, and saw the type of trademarks and security and safety measures she has set up…….BABY!!!! This woman has blown my mind already, and all I did was wash my face😂😂. I have compared and used her products with others, and i am genuinely impressed❤

I just got on UA-cam to watch this after my director said that I HAVE to order my inventory today $1,800 minimum!!! I don't want to spend that much because 1st of all I don't even know what I am doing. I haven't even been to a Mary Kay party. I don't know if people are actually even buying this stuff!!
I thought I had already replied to this… so sorry! There are a lot of different philosophies about how much inventory you need to start your business, but the bottom line is that this is YOUR decision to make. Inventory has its advantages (I have about $10,000 retail!) but you need to understand what those advantages are and feel confident about placing that order. I hope things are going well for you. And yes, people are definitely buying this stuff! ☺️
So this is so long ago that you posted this but I'm just so curious if you actually spent that much on starting your inventory. Part of me hopes not with how unsure you sounded but I hope if you did it worked out amazing! I know that most people I know didn't make enough for it to be worth it for them.
I would love to hear how you got started… how you got your first customers… were you involved in any other direct sales companies before transitioning to MK… did you ever consider leaving MK… and what has helped you stick with it through the valleys. 😁
I probably answer all those questions peppered throughout my videos... LOL! I'll add it to my list of ideas for a video so it's all in one place though. In a nutshell, I did 30 faces in 30 days to get started and went to training every single week. MK was the first direct sales company I was part of. I haven't considered leaving but I've transitioned from consultant to team leader to director and back to consultant based on a variety of things going on in my life. I stuck through the valleys because I knew that If nothing else, I could get my product at cost and serve the customers I already had. Readjusting your goals isn't the same as quitting, btw. The longer you are in, the more you understand what is required to keep certain positions. It's up to you whether you want to work at that level. Blessings to you!!!

I am only 41 seconds in and already feel better. So, I was gifted a sample bag of products. I ended up falling in love. I am thinking about being a consultant, but was a bit afraid. I have seen a few videos about an MLM, but to me, they were describing what the hood would call, “a hook up”😂. “Aye, I got the business plan and products if you want in on this. You just gotta pay me my money🤷♀️.” ……..let me finish watching the video. I think I’m going to go ahead and sign up🤔
