This played on the radio the day I had to send my 17yr old spaniel Toby to Rainbow Bridge ....till we meet again ..... I was speechless like this music yet it spoke volumes to me!
Oh Maggie, your comment moved me to tears and I'm so sorry for your sad loss. Sending you love and condolences. Bless your sweetheart Toby. You will meet again one day ❤
So beautiful, very talented composer. When i hear her music I deeply regret I did not complete my cello studies. I wish to be one of the cellist in the studio.
WHAT A PHENOMENAL GIFT AND TALENT TGE LORD HAS BETOWED UPON THIS YOUNG WOMAN. THANK YOU FATHER, FOR THE PRIVILEGE TO LISTEN TO SUCH WONDERFUL MUSIC. SO GRATEFUL
Russell...clearly you are a man with great knowledge of music. Maybe you are, however, listening to this piece of music in the context of a different genre. There is much going on here. Listen closely to the inner workings of this composition. Listen to the tension and release. Debbie also comes from the world of film composing. Melody is not always the most important thing in music and especially film music, though I will acknowledge that it does have its place and takes on a higher role in some compositions, though I think we would both agree that melody in "Baroque" music is not the same as "melody" in "20th Century" music, for example.
For soundtracks you don't want the music to be full to the brim with complexity it's there to enhance not compete. That style is carried over to this and it's refreshing to hear something that isn't just trying to be clever and difficult for a change. I've liked her stuff for years.
imortal composition... amazing.
WOW, what a talent.!

It's never too late to learn an instrument. If you want to be a cellist, you'll be a cellist :3
SO beautiful and it definitely speaks to me, as a virgo ♍ 💕

She's a film composer this is for movies. It's not Shostakovich fifth 😂
