Hi ma’am i want to study mba in Fashion luxury MBA but i’m scared of taking non stem course for USA. What should I do?
At any university, you can take stem courses and apply for a STEM OPT visa. That way, you can stay in the US for longer but you can include it in the requirements for the visa.
Basically take the Fashion Luxury MBA and add the STEM courses as electives. Hope this helps and good luck!
Hi Ekta, Thank you for the insights. I am currently in the process of selecting photos and I had a doubt, In the image for example your first image where you showcased you have travelled, was it more than one images collaged together in a single photo or was it a single image of a particular place from all the places you’ve traveled
So I did a really cool thing, where I took a map and dropped pins on where I had travelled. You could use the same idea or make a collage. Whatever works best for you.

Of course! You don’t need a brand name to be able to get into an MBA school. I have plenty of classmates who have started their own businesses and don’t have job experience from a prestigious company, but they have shown how their work experience has shaped them for a leadership program such as an MBA.

I've reached you out on Linkedin but let me ask in here as well.. from your personal experience, out of all the documents you have submitted for application, which part do you think makes your application stand out among other applicants and why? And do you think that high GMAT/GRE score is a key determinant in order to get in? Thank you in advance! :)
Ok, so I would think that one of the main reasons that my application stood out is for my diverse background and for my background working at the Bank of Montreal. It's important to try to craft a story rather than looking at metrics. While a high GMAT/GRE score is important, the focus is more on the story and the intangibles rather than just numbers. What was your GPA & GMAT score ? Nice video
My GPA was based on the Indian system was 7.2/10 and my GRE was 318.

@@s_rox5042 I don't think that should be too much of an issue. But you should check out the average GPAs/GMAT scores for the schools you're applying to. Some schools are more GPA focussed whereas others are not so much. Remember GPA, is just one part of your whole application!

I wanted to know if the admissions team would get a strong feeling and reject the application if i apply for both PhD and MBA for fall 2024.
Because that would indicate i don't have clarity in what i wanna do..
And the thing is i know both degrees are different and can't be done at the same time..
My doubt is will they reject when they get to know that I applied for both?
I’m not too sure about that, but most universities have different admissions teams for the PhD and MBA programs. However, I would recommend not applying for both programs at the same school. Best of luck!
If my gmat score is outstanding but im not work experienced so is there will it effect the acceptance?
Again, the work experience is crucial when sitting in the classroom. At business school, you’ll be doing case studies which will require you to draw from your own experience. GMAT scores tend to be more of a check in the box rather than something that sets you apart from other candidates.

Hi Ekta! Amazing video so my question is related to the academics. I scored a 7.5 GPA in my 10th grade and for my 12th grade it lowered down to 56% now I know thats bad and I’m working hard in my BBA Undergrad program and I’m maintaining 8.0 GPA. Will this affect my admission?? Pls reply
Don’t worry about your high school grades. It terms of an MBA they are just concerned with your undergrad GPA and your work experience. Hope this helps!

Sure, so I got my interview call in November after applying in September. I ended up getting my final decision in August.

Yes, of course, the Pick Six essay is definitely a visual essay.
What’s if my goal is not in finance? I’m into tech.
So, you can take specific classes about the tech MBA and look into those specifically. There are plenty of people who are also into tech as well.
