What a GOAT playlist! I used to jam to this all the time back when I was a teen, working part-time at a café in 2019. I’d play it for the customers, and seeing this video again just unlocked a flood of memories. Back then, life felt so chill-no major worries about money or the future. I was working just to get myself little things I wanted. But now, even though I make more, spending doesn’t feel the same. I recall sometime in my sophomore year at university staying up until sometime around 2am-3am trying to cram read a book that I needed to write a review of that was due the next day listening to this on my laptop drinking coffee while sitting in my friend's living room. I don't recall how I did it but somehow I managed to take an existential sort of photo of me holding my coffee mug in two hands like in the gif in this video with this video playing in the background. Uploaded it to Instagram with the caption just saying "woah". I didn't finish the book, wrote the review anyway, and then went to class only for the professor gave us a week extension on the reviews. I was so frustrated that I didn't even finish the book or rewrite my review despite getting an extension.

I've listened to this track so many times, I stopped counting. I found this track way back, maybe three or four years ago when it was firstly uploaded, and listened to it on a daily basis. Every time I feel sad, anxious or just the whole mix of uneasy emotions, i put on this musicmix and feel like im coming home to a cup of hot chocolate and a warm blanket.
I remember listening to this lofi mix on the original channel like 5 years ago. People used to make comments about things they were going through in life and would come back every few months to update all the listeners. Losing all those comments was probably the worst part of that video being taken down.
