I am 57 and am fairly conservative in my cosmetic choices but it is good to know I have choices. I may be too old, but I love purples and I wear it anyway.

Too faced was the first non-drugstore brand that I have tried when it comes to eyeshadows.
And now owning a fairly good collection of some of the currently best brands, I still am always pleasantly surprised how nice my eye makeup turns out when I’m using my too faced palettes.
Of course it’s nothing special, but it’s something about them just being so easy to use and the neutral looks that I come up with just always look simple but very flattering.

Same here, I have absolutely amazing palettes from high-end and indi brands, but there is something about too faced that it's always pleasant to use their shadows. They are so easy and so unpretentious. They just get the work done. ❤😂

Tarte Maneater is absolutely beautiful and excellent quality. The shimmers are lovely with the proper brush (Rose and Ben). So nice that I bought two so I don’t have to pack it if I work a double shift.

Morgan you need to try Dose of Colors eyeshadow palettes! They’re easily the best mattes in the market. Comparable to all the high end formulas. Looking forward to seeing your top 10. Best palette of the year has to be I Need A Nude from Natasha Denona. ❤

I agree on the Groundworx palette - the powder should be the bigger pan. Can't tell you how many times I've gone to the bigger pan and been wrong because my mind wants it to be that way.

I was really worried about getting the odens eye Christmas palettes in the mail because of your initial reaction in your swatch and sip, but honestly I’ve had a great experience with them! I have a LOT of makeup and every single odens eye palette ever released and honestly even with so much to compare them to, I really enjoy both of the new ones. I think you and some others may have gotten a bad batch or something because I’ve seen people having major issues with some of the shimmers and especially the holo shade, but I’ve had no issues
I agree! Mine are absolutely beautiful. I’ve had no problem with either of them and I’ve used all of the shades. I’m so relieved, because the color stories are wonderful! 💖
I’ve actually had very lackluster experiences with Oden’s eye palettes. My first- the Norns palette was dreadful, I tried the Salmone 2 - it was nice, but not better than any other brand I tried. It’s actually kinda like Colorpop for me, and I’m not a fan of Colorpop.
@@mykitm7104 I definitely didn’t get the hype around the original odens eye palettes. All of their first releases were very meh to me and I’ve since decluttered them. I really liked some of the shimmers in Norns and then started loving odens eye when I tried the legendary Diversa collection. Since then I feel like they’ve improved constantly
@@livgraham257 I thought I simply fell on a bad palette with The Norns palette, but I’ve tried the Solmane 2 which was their newer formula, and still I’m not a fan. I have better mattes from Melt cosmetics and Natasha Denona, and better shimmers from basically any other indie brand. I just cannot love their formula and I did try. I also dislike Colorpop’s formula, but loved BH cosmetics’ formula.

Did you like the Too Faced Better Then Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette or the Too Faced Maple Syrup Pancakes Eyeshadow Palette better? Can't decide which one to get out of the two of them. The Too Faced Pinker Times Ahead Eyeshadow Palette I wasn't sure about getting. Yes the color story is beautiful for spring and summer but didn't it get bad reviews? ABH Fall Romance Eyeshadow Palette is so pretty. I tried Viseart Eyeshadow Palettes and I hate to say this but they didn't last on my eye and they weren't good. The Charlotte Tilbury Holiday Palette is such a pretty color story.
Glosia 3 pallet it's a waist of space id prefer then to add a 4th eye shadow

Totally agree re the too faced spritz palette and the tarte man eater. Everyone was liking it but I felt like I was being gaslit. I thought they sucked. Won’t be buying anymore too faced or tarte palettes at that price point.

I just naturally found myself on a no buy for eyeshadow. I have over 50 eyeshadow palettes and I'm not a beauty influencer. I realized ....I have every iteration and color story imaginable. Nothing is novel or unique enough to buy anymore. I'm glad I stopped 😅 I still watch eyeshadow videos but I'm no longer have any itch to buy eyeshadow. 😊

I think the worst will be those Huda beauty quads,those were really bad especially for Huda. My favourite palette this year was the ABG Cosmos palette, which I recently bought at 25% off!

I couldn’t see either glaminatrix palettes (rich romantic, sugar spice) or I need a nude, yuuca or even PMG Sunlit Seduction, so that’s like 5 right there I reckon
Also I managed to get sunlit seduction for 50% off and honestly…like while I can’t create diversity of looks; I’m legit enjoying it way more then I thought I would!!
palettes with a lot of empty space annoy me to my core so I hate those glossier trios lol
