I’m having this issue right now
I have the same cordless Masters. I like the cordless Masters cause they have the power, the blade has alot of teeth for close cuts, and I like how they have some weight to them. They don’t feel cheap. I consider the cordless Masters a must have for all barbers in their rotation. It’s like the OG legendary clipper. They might have some problems to them but it’s more of a preference thing. But to me, it’s a legendary clipper and a must have for all barbers!
Absolutely right .. I have two cores less masters and sending my first set in for service from Andis today. I need them back in action ❗️
I had the same problem out of the box new. The circuit board is bad, specifically the part that controls the charging of the battery. It's why you hear it change speed also. I bet it dies super fast too doesn't it.
Even extra oil shouldn't make it smoke cause it should not get that hot, unless it's atomizing it. Where is that coming from?
Thank you for that information. Yes it did.. now it just doesn’t turn on. The charging light still works but no blade action. I just bought another pair and looking to fix these.

One of the wire leads from the grey ribbon cable to the circuit board is broken. Andis will repair it for you. If you're handy, you can soldier it back yourself.
Which lead causes the red light ?
@@killak3648 The light turns on because the board thinks there is a power shortage. One of the wires are broken

Mine just started doing the same thing..
My magic clippers just started smoking, I put oil every other week cause I only use my machine 3 times a week. It just smoking from where the battery is connected inside. So not sure what I should do
Call customer service they will email you a case number to send them in for service. It’s probably the Circuit board going bad.
Mine just started doing the same thing & I just got them about 4 months ago. How do you send them back to get it fixed?

It’s the motor going bad.. and for some it’s the Circuit board going bad.. sending mines in for repairs today.

Had to send them into Andis for repairs. Motor Burnout.
Tbh bro andis are straight trash I personally don’t see it being use in a decade I have the same problem and only been using it for 7 months
Same here didn’t have it for long… I feel like it’s a classic clipper they have to make it better Mechanic wise.
The smoke is from excess oil . Andis can't control how much oil a customer uses.
The motor inside does not get hot enough to burn oil.
@@miglescobar On the inside of the motor . Oil leaks down the shaft and inside especially near the commutator and brushes.

Smoke is because there is too much tension on the blades. Probably because the ceramic blade is thicker. Ceramic grinds off in a dusty smoke like consistency.
Thats also why the light is turning red.
