I like small prayer books, this looks excellent. I haven't liked how large the ACNA prayer books are, but this one I may pick up. Thanks for the overview!
Has a hard release date been set for these abridged versions to be available for purchase? Also, is there a Spanish version of the ACNA's BCP in the works? Thus far, all Spanish-speakers have to work with is the 1979 BCP. It would be lovely to have a Spanish version of the ACNA's since it is so well done.
What are the actual dimensions of this particular book? Curious about it, but slightly disappointed that they haven't produced a compact edition of the whole prayerbook. I hope they will do that soon.
@@benjefferies8531 ANCA desperately needs to produce economy versions of the small hardcovers that are much cheaper, all other anglican prayer books are available in this means, it is practicality for church growth and evangelism.
Excited to see this! It will be great to have in my pocket when meeting with folks. The 39 Articles come up a lot in those meetings, will this still include the Articles?
I have the pew edition and think it a wonderfully designed prayer book. My only wish had been a smaller edition to carry along while on holiday, etc. I had been using the 1979 Pocket Edition for that purpose until now, but the release of this one means that will be changing quite soon. Perfect. The inclusion of the ribbon is a nice plus.
Good overview, Ben. Thanks! For those who join our Midday, Compline and Evening Prayer services, this may be better than the larger standard book or downloading individual services. Nice to have the option at least of something smaller with the same page numbers :) Renée
I'll have to get this to do my clinical rounds. Now I'd love to see a BCP and ESV in one volume.
Yes! I was hoping for such a book.

Very nice. I'll pick up a copy.
My bad. It was actually this edition that I was hoping might be produced in a leather-bound edition. Thanks. And good Pascha.
Compact for travel. Excellent!
Very exciting. Thank you for doing this!
Terrific!
Just learned it s/b available mid-to-late May, 2022!
Update, MAY 15: Abridged BCP should be up on the website mid-week!
Can post the link?

This will be an amazing gift to Anglicans and anyone who uses the prayer book in the USA. Will it be available for pre-order anytime soon?
Looking looking forward to getting this. When can we order/pre-order these?

Any idea what they'll cost?
It hasn't yet been exactly decided. But it will be priced very close to the Pew Edition, which is $19.95

Alas it does not. It does have the Fundamental Declarations of the Province.
