Hello guys, welcome to another episode of Fix Your Finance! In today's episode, we meet Sumit, who runs a momo stall in Ghaziabad, UP. Sumit and his wife started their momo business two years back and they currently garner sales of upto 2 lakhs on a monthly basis. No need to come after a man you do not know and who is simply working hard for his family. There's a lot to learn from this couple maybe focus on that instead of calling him out for 'tax chori'. Iska tax isliye ni Banta because tax structure is very poor in India. A corporate person earning above 1 lakh even after deduction has to pay at least 10K per month as taxes but buisnesses find loopholes in the system to evade taxes.
@@WalterWhite-og6wj a lot of them actually evade it in a legal manner. In fact, employees too can save a good chunk of money through legal means provided they hire a good CA.
@@aayushi8917 They can't. We have just couple of sections where we have limits like 80C, 80D, Home loan 24, and smaller stuff here and there.
Where on the other hand, business can purchase a car and say they are using it for work purpose and save taxes there. Petrol, restaurant bills, Mobile phone purchases, etc.

My friend with annual profit of 50lakhs+ pay less taxes than me who has a CTC of 28LPA.

Com in Banking and Insurance(BBI) with 9.12 CGPI and i have also completed CCC, Tally Prime, Advance excel, BFSI COURSE, MODEX(Stock Market related activity held by my CLG and I have also certificate in Employability training skills. Currently I am pursuing Accounts and Taxation course duration is of 6 month in which I will get to learn Tally prime, advance excel with dashboard, TDS with challan, GST calculation, ITR FILLING and MIS. So what should i do after this? I have interest in Banking, Finance, Accounts.

The plan he may be talking about for his child would be LIC's Children Endowment Plan and not ULIP. LIC had this since a long time and most people in the good old days had this plans for their children, I i mean guys/girls of our age now. This was considered to be atleast much better than ULIP plans. Not calculation wise, but the value it would bring with minimum investment.
The amount is paid up at 18,20,22,24 and finally Everything pending at the age of 26 as much as I recall!

Bro, ULIP is better than mutual fund if you are investing in proper product.. ULIP is more tax efficient and due to its fund switching options without any short term or long term gains, it provides better flexibility.. Charges are also low in long term compared to mutual fund, if you know the right product..
