- Kentucky is the last game of a tough October Road stretch for Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers. Can the Tigers end their losing skid against a tough Kentucky defense or will the losing skid continue. Questions continue to surround the QB position as Auburn has struggled to score points on offense. Payton Thorne will need his best game of the year for AUburn to get the win on the road.
The crew also gives their SEC picks for all of the games in the conference this week. Darrell Dapprich joins the show to chime in!
Would love to see Hank out there again. He might win one for the team. If he lost it wouldn't be any different than what is happening now.
That's what I'm saying
Great show tonight! WDE
i like the addition of dap
Good show
Dapp baby!
Yes your best one person calling plays.
That would be so typical for Cook and other key Mizzou players to miss the bammer game!!
Colorado is the perfect example of what an elite quarterback can do for a team. Without Shadur(sp?) Sanders Colorado is a mid team at best.
Robert Lewis being a slot receiver had nothing to do with him not catching the ball. I agree that KLS or Perry Thompson or Cam Coleman should have been in the outside but still has nothing to with him dropping the pass, he’s a wideout, an experienced one at that. He should have made that play. Payton couldn’t have made a better pass outside of running down the field and handing it to him. However, auburn loses that game if Brady Cook plays the whole game regardless . That’s why auburn is where they are cause they don’t know how to finish games and take advantage of teams when they are down. Auburn loses to Kentucky 17-14
I don't recall what we said, but did it seem like someone was blaming it on him being a slot?
@@TheWarRapport it was about who should have been in the lineup over Robert Lewis at the outside wr position and I was making a general statement
Wasn’t Darius Slayton the last one drafted?
Slay was before Schwartz...gotta recall, Slay played with Stidham... Schwartz was with Bo...
Technically, since he was drafter in a later round that same draft, Seth Wiliams would have been the last one.
This Missouri Bama game will show us if we have a chance in the iron bowl imo. If cook don’t play than Auburn is just cursed. Karate Kid joke was hilarious 😂
Auburn has a chance regardless of how that game goes
So you guys have way more info than the average person, is hank really not good enough to start?
Defense bring pressure instead of trying to cover.
Like on 4th and 5 when they got burnt? It's just about executing the call
Yall are straight hating on Vandy sooooo hard! Wow! Have yall watched them? Even if Vandy doesn't win straight up, the spread is 18.5!
Vandy needs turnovers (Texas could accommodate)
Vandy needs to limit possessions (which is the key to the game)
Vandy needs Texas to be undisciplined 3 or 4 times. That's feasible!!
yall were straight laughing at Vandy...
Also, Vandy was very vanilla this week against Ball State. Coaching staff has been installing stuff for two weeks for Ewers.
I don't mind picking against Vandy, but laughing at them and just saying they don't "deserve" anything. Mizzou (OT-L) and Bama (WIN) are both still top 15!
Watched them quite a few times.
I think they are a decent team. I'm laughing at how rankings work.
Them beating Bama is why they are ranked.
It is what it is.
On the Robert Lewis play weren't we goin fast nd Lewis jus so happen to still be in there n we didn't sub could it have been a play for another player he jus got left in because of the hurry up
Definitely think you’re right, sure wish they could have went to one of the bigger receivers. I went to the Mizzu game and they kinda had Lambert Smith double covered most of the game. But Coleman or whoever was on opposite side had single coverage all day. They definitely should have taken more shots but they just don’t trust Thorne in my opinion. They have to open it up or we are done the rest of the season.
@@WendyJones-zy8kqwe play offense like we just Don’t want the other team to have the ball instead of actually attacking
Still need to align better tho. Cam and KLS are both on the field on that play
One of them should be the single WR to the boundary there.
@@TheWarRapport or just let Perry Thompson play if the veteran WR can’t make game winning catches. If they can’t make plays i don’t want to see them in the 4th quarter
Malcolm dropped one just like that against UGA.
Veteran, freshman.. just make the plays. I hope he comes up big the next time his number is called
It’s past time to bench Scott. He has been a liability all season
100% percent agree. I hate it for Scott but he's not the same Scott from last year.
Dude went from the NFL to Enterprise Rent A Car in less than a year. So very confusing on how he was so good last year to being absolute garbage at his position this year.
If I was the other team I’d throw it at him every play
I don’t believe Ryan Davis (wide receiver coach) is a good teacher of running routes….js
Marcus Davis is the WR Coach
@@TheWarRapport yes Marcus Davis (my bad) I really don’t believe he’s a good person to teach running routes
I don't think he is there to be s route running guy.
He is a recruiter 1st.
They have WR assistant coaches on the staff. With the size of the staffs, they need to have a technical guy there to help with that
I don't know who that is on the staff this year.
@@TheWarRapport ohhh ok I didn’t know that, thought that was Ryan’s job to develop their route and when and where to cut routes off according to what the defense is showing them, thanks for the info.
I am not sure what all he is tasked with, but I do know why he got the job. It was his recruiting ability.
