- The battle on the shore of the gods eye in the view of harrenahl would be one of the single most bloody battles in all of the history of westeros. Many great lords from the greens would die, while hundreds would drown in the waters of the lake. For the blacks and queen Rhaenrya this would be there first big victory of the war
The Dance Of The Dragons will be the focus of the plot of the new HBO spin-off House Of The Dragon coming in 2022. So if you want to learn the story before we see HBO's take on it then this will be a very long-running series. The fish feed would be so amazing to see on screen and the way lord Reyne’s armour with red and silver would look just sounds awesome, but I sadly doubt the show is gonna be that accurate it’s already having some big problems
Yeah the more i see coming out of the production the more my expectations are being cooled a bit. I'm still very hopefully in general. I just hope on large they stick to the source material in terms of the overall plot and don't go off book too much like the main show did. Yes they are going to have to flesh it out more, but the blueprint is there. I think if we see the fish feed comes down to how big of a role some of the more minor characters are gonna get, but if they go by the book it could be epic

@@Smoug being inaccurate to the books which ruins plot points and destroyed others, for instance the age switching for the girls, where Laena is the youngest even tho she’s actually the oldest and making alicent and Rhaenyra the same age just for future drama, also making Daemon an angsty tantrum throwing baby

The fact that Aemond thinks Helena is sane enough for battle is the biggest display of ignorance he’s shown. Helena is in no condition to fight she watched her son be murdered and collected bugs before then. She’s not all there but Aemond thinks she’s going to jump on Dreamfire and be effective? Like come on Aemond use your head!!!!
Fr learning more about this - I’ve realized how much of an idiot Alicent and Aemond were.
In the books there is no mention of Helena collecting bugs. It was probably added into the show to make her a more interesting chacter because she isn't mentioned much in fire and blood, it being an in universe history book makes it diffcult for grrm to give chactrization to side chacters. All we know about book Helena was she was a plump sweet girl that even Rhernyra had nothing bad to say of, she might have been a little slow but that could have been her starting to disocate after blood and chesse.

It is the most brutal & deadliest battle in Fire & Blood. I have a feeling that it will be at par with the GoT Battle of the Bastards or even beat it. I trust Miguel will outdo himself once again.

The scale of death in this battle and the very unique location should make it a spectacular. One thing the show got right, bar the long night was the pitched battles

The Battle of The Bastards was awful, peak bad GoT, made no logical sense. I really hope they actually hire someone with knowledge of military tactics for the battle in HoTD
As an an armchair general I would say that the only realistic pitch battle was Stanis vs Ramsay. BotB was complete bullshit from start to finish.

I'm still #TeamBlack forever, because the Greens really did start all this sh*t, and, you can tell they ALL would be absolutely abysmal rulers, whereas we'll never know how good of a Queen Rhae would have been, had they just left her alone & stayed chill. 🙄 smh

Daemon's tactics hardly saved most of the Blacks Dragons tbh. In the end, both sides lost a lot, Daemon's "expertise" bought the Blacks time, but he was a fool for assuming Aemond's death would be the big hit to stop the Greens in their efforts.
I was alluding to the fact that like Aemond, Daemon was a wild card as a younger brother to the King

regrettably i don’t think we will see this one on the screen, it doesn’t contain any of the headline characters so i think we will just see the black armies arrive at harrenhal to find aemond gone, without seeing this fight beforehand

When he said no dragon was a match for vaghar I remember thinking Damone has carexe the blood worm, which was at that time the only dragon in his prime. Everyone keeps saying vaghar is the biggest and strongest dragon, yes she was and one of the oldest, maybe just behind cannibal. But once a dragon reaches 200 plus years it’s not the same, at least the Targaryens ones were, they get to big, if it wasn’t raining arrax would’ve out flown her, even in the last fight the red worm did win, he died a little bit later but he was the last one to live so he won, ripped vaghar a neck apart. It’s just so stupid though, cause the dragons red queen, vaghar , the blood worm all fought together and lived many years together, then get a few dumb riders and kill each other. 😢
If they had people who studied medieval fighting write this. Aemond would have been dead a long time ago.
I would have sent Carexe's and the red Queen after Aemond. No way was his dragon gonna be about to stand up to both. With Vermitor as backup. Had they Killed those two off quickly. The Blacks would have steamed rolled over the greens.

Ive always wondered what would have happened if Alyn of Hull was able to tame Sheepstealer instead of Neetles or the Cannibal? Especially the latter. Anyone who could have tamed the Cannibal would provide a huge advantage to whichever aide they chose to support.
