The residential flats you are walking through I believe is one of the many low cost flats. Here's a tip on free food donation. Find out if the food is donated meant for all (usually this is done as a form of religious requirement or as a form of religious duty) or if it is meant for the less fortunate especially the homeless. It has been noted in KL that food donation was ban within a certain radius of the KL city centre a few years ago because foreign backpackers were taking advantage of the free food. The money for the free meal for the homeless/less fortunate are usually donated by the public and the organisers tend to have a limit amount for every session, so... those who can afford meals shouldn't reduce the opportunity for the actual recipients. Glad you asked before you queue with the others... or, best to wait until everyone has had theirs before you take the packed free meal if there is extra. As I mentioned, that is low cost flats area and some inhabitants aren't lucky.
The real food traveller, just randomly went to street food and a chill out anywhere. I’m glad our country fellow served the best hospitality to you bro. Eat like locals too haha
Translate for you..... What a guy!!! Never choosy. Went to all the hawker to eat all kind of food. Not like the other traveller that only went to rastaurant that being recommened to them.... A compliment to you from brother The Pya ...very friendly and humble guy.
Thank you for having me bro! I really enjoyed the food. Yes lol, Teh Ais was best I've had in Penang, I don't know how you made it but it tasted different from many other Tea Ais I had. Thank you for watching and commenting bro!
You not only sharing the nice vlog with us, I also learn a lot from you. Rifle Range flat or we now call it flat Padang Tembak. I used to stay there in the early 1980s before my family's moved to Sungai Ara Camp. My father was in the Army back then. The Ministry Of Defense rented few floors from Penang State Goverment, to accommodate families of Armed Forces personnel until 1990s. I understand the feeling you have there...same goes to me. I am 41 years old now by the way...
Watching you video reminds me of my 2 yrs working and staying in Penang in 2006-2008. I missed Penang so much. Enjoyed staying there. Enjoy your trip there!!!
Hi Buddy........wow, another wonderful street food adventure with a touching ending....... distribution of free food by the generous & kind lady in red.....May God bless her with good health, longevity & happiness. Stay safe and be well, my friend and thank you for sharing your lovely adventures. Looking forward to your next upload.
Hi ! To see you eating every single seed of rice and leaving nothing on the food wrapper is very phenomenal. Showing your affection to any cat is also lovely. These two characters of yours shows that you are very a nice, appreciative and loving dude. Trustworthy and humble character appreciable everywhere.
Hi Brother, thrilled to see you enjoying the gastronomic delights of Padang Tembak ( Rifle Range) & meetings its residents. The area is very historical dating back to the old British armed forces days, although it was a very run down & poor area the people are just so friendly & as a Mat Saleh you will be treated as a special guest, as i was many years ago!!!! God Bless, stay safe!!!
So much Yummy food in Penang. You really loves it.once you go back, you will definately miss Malaysian food .cheap n delicious. Any thought of making Penang your second home.
My friend .. it is nice to hear you speak some malay words .. and you are good too .. and also I am just happy to see you slowly but surely 'malaysianizing' yourself through your appreciation of the local food .. I hope by keeping yourself busy exploring the local food, it will at least make you less missing your home in Ukraine .. take care and stay safe always my friend ❤🐈❤
I wish to have explored this kind of diamond's in the rough places on my travels.. but had travel gang who always prefer places with A/C only.. now we know how much we had missed those goodies.. 😢

The truth is I can't afford lol (I'm just hoping my channel will grow big someday hahaha). I don't travel because I can afford, I travel because I love it and will always find ways to travel for as long as I can. In Malaysia my rent is about $200, food so cheap (can find $1 meals per day easy) monthly phone bill with unlimited data text and call $6 usd per month. Can live in Malaysia on $300 monthly budget if you're very careful and don't splurge. In US you can work for 3 months and live in Malaysia for 2 years lol. Dollar bills go a long way, here in Southeast Asia.
