ENTJ and same. I don’t know how to empathize but I genuinely care about people’s problems. I would just rather provide solutions and see results than to continue listening to problems.
@@kriskris3617 ah yeah, INTJ female here, my mom has told me "what's wrong with you" on several occasions, I suspect she's ESFP or something, she's very religious and thinks feng shui is legit science.... but somehow there's something wrong with me XD from what I learned some types just like to rant and vent, thinking is not their dominant function. if you love them just endure their stupidity to make them feel loved, it's like carrying their grocery but without the useful part of getting it to their home... if that made sense...it makes them feel better -> they are happy. to fake empathy just say stuff like, aha, I'm so sorry, I feel so bad for you, there there I'm here for you, give them a hug if appropriate.
@@HisameArtwork yeahhh half my family is very emotionally driven. I’ve learned to communicate how I don’t have that much empathy but I can offer a listening ear and a helping hand 🤷🏼♀️
ISTJs would waste time by refusing to learn a newer and faster way to do things. Like the comic where two cavemen are pushing a cart with square wheels and someone tries to show them round wheels but they basically say "The traditional way works fine. Unlike lazy people we don't have time to talk and daydream all day, we have work to do".
@@larsthemartian9554 There is no scientific basis to MBTI. It's just a magazine quiz with as much scientific rigor as the "Which Friends character are you?" tests.
As an INTJ woman I am often criticized for being too pragmatic, introverted, logical and weird (already because in Italy you are weird if you stay at home reading a book rather than wasting time on smoking, drinking and going to parties). Fortunately, I met other INTJ women who made me feel accepted and this helped my self-esteem.
I know it is a cliche but as an INTJ female I cannot express it other than I feel misunderstood. Seriously, when I mean one thing, the response to what I said doesn't make sense indicating that the person did not understand my intention. This leads to conversation blocks or downright anger. I realized later in life I get along better with men than women;I don't enjoy girl talk and would rather discuss cosmology and brick laying than shopping.
I’m an ENTP and I find it crazy that as a woman, there are barely representation of us in the media. Like specifically as characters. Maybe our personalities are more masculine presenting. I wish I had more female characters to relate to however.
What you say its absolute true, we need this types of woman in media, especially for the young minds that can learn from them but i cannot help but think that as he said, it was an study from 2018. You can confidently confirm that those values have change during the last 4 years, due the general social situation. Also, mbti types can be easily mistyped due to the numerous values and specific characteristics that you have to take into account to designate each individual and sometimes each mbti can have very small differences. I think there are more women entj and entp than we really think, especially thinking about how economic and mental independence is a must to survive in our world nowadays.
Just remember that: Rarest isn't the best because being misunderstood is at its height. 😂 I am actually glad that INFJ isn't the rarest because all the people who said they're INFJ just because it is rare will now move to ENFJ 😂
But don't forget to be empathic with enfj because now there will be a lot of people saying that they're enfj when they're not, and we know how bad it is
@@cinthiabarbosapaiva6502 As an ENFJ I can't really see that happening tbh. A lot of people romanticize being an introvert and so on, so I guess either they're gonna keep saying that they're INFJ or they're gonna claim being ENTJ, cause "I'm a psycho uwu I have no feelings". I don't think the ENFJ type is popular enough for that kinda change but that's just my uneducated guess lol
ENTJ female here. Didnt know that it was that rare. Explains why I related to men more throughout my life! But as I have gotten older, there are a few more women who really appreciate my honest and direct manner, and ability to get things accomplished! in the past my "male personality traits" were not seen as empathetic enough or feminine enough. I had to learn to soften it up. Men say they want a smart, independent woman, but most really dont.
ENTJ females y'all are absolutely amazing. I love INTJ females too ( my best friend is one ) we have quite a few things in common since I am an 8w7 and like being direct and goal-focused, in an ENTP way!
You know, every person is unique in their own way. Despite these typings. I lean towards the top two most popular types for women. Yet I have a unique way of looking at life and expressing it. I accept it. Don’t pigeon hole yourself into a set group of lettering. It’s really just a piece of who you are. It’s a guide to help you understand your thought processes not your complete personality.
Very true, I think the environment we were raised in and who we surround ourselves by make us all unique etc. on top of the letters we might share…that way there’s no way we can be the same even if we have the same letters. It’s good to remind us this
I had some problems interacting with people and after reading about the rarity of my character it made some sense. I embraced easier many parts of me. Of course we shouldn't use it as an excuse to be annoying towards others, either precious snowflakes, those are for teens, for me it is a tool to understand different types and to respect their character. It gave me better social tools and makes it easier for me to navigate in society and economically. For those who might have some self esteem issues, can help a great deal. For others who like to show off how rare they are, it is from an immature kind of place and ignorance of the importance to know how to be social so you can have a positive and good network in life which can benefit you and others. Knowing when to talk and whom to talk to maximize a positive outcome in a situation, little knowledge of the MBTI can help in those decisions. Of course there are always exceptions, but in general it works. I will give you an example, I had an ISTJ female friend, the woman was a delight and very helpful if you want to fix a house..... she was the ultimate tool, but to talk to her about making plans for a business, the lack of N was showing from miles away.... she thought I was delusional, INTJ female. On the other hand, talking to an ENTJ about the making of a business, is always for me a great conversation.
I kinda felt like it. As an enfj man, I always felt a bit "special", not fitting in the society. When i walk into a room, all of the eyes turn to me, yet i feel lonely. I have a lot of friends, but i have never met someone to whom i could truly identify. I know we are out here. I know we will do great, and bring peace and love along the way. What i don't know, is whether we'll finally meet one of us. Keep it up enfjs, we're not alone ❤.
A true ENFJ will empathize with everyone and will look for things in common even with ISTP and will use that to get the closest we can to everyone. Hahaha at least that's what I do. But I don't know if this is joke or you are serious.
As an Asian female INFP who studied in international school and college, I have met many Asian and European female INFP friends, but I have never met Asian male INFP. The first male INFP I met is a foreign student from USA and the second one is from Germany. I can feel that female INFP is common but when it comes to male INFP, it is very rare in Asian while it is easier to find them in American and European culture

This was fascinating, especially when you got to the gender splits for each one. I always knew INTJ was a male dominated personality type, but I didn't know ENFP was female dominated. Also, I'm not surprised ISFJ is female dominated. They seem to be the great nurturers of the MBTI.
I'm a intj female since I took the test decades ago we were supposedly the rarest, glad it's changed. enfj males, have at it, the snowflakeiest title is now yours.
as an INTJ my self I was kinda suffering when I was in middle school and high school of the difference being a thinking type got me a lot of trouble with those dramatic S & P types ugh its pathetic in my opinion seeing them cry or be sad to a silly stupid reason I hated that, that I don't get along with them and I was an evil person in there pov but actually and no offense I am in a waaaaaay better place than them now I am so emotionally mature & way thoughtful than them I am at collage now and I am grateful for being the type and personality that I am I didn't see them in a long time since the last term of high school I kinda miss them lol even though they hate me for no reason not a logical one though ofc. There is a reason but not every reason is a fact it's a feeling and THAT'S WHY I HATE THE S TYPES THANK YOU LOL. it's such a crazy difference between ( ENFPS )and the s's and f's. sorry for my English it's my 2nd language.
I'm loving this 90's Science Show video style. You've nailed it excellently, and as someone born in 1991, I deeply appreciate it. 😂 Also, it's interesting to know that INFJ's lean so heavily female.
So it's crazy that my husband and I found eachother cuz we are both INFJ's(I'm an Assertive type and he is a Turbulent). And we both have our own two to three best friends (each) we surround ourselves with, and they happen to all be INFP'S- which half and half of them are both guys and girls. Plus I have one female best friend who is also an INFJ. But they are all on the rarer scale- which to me is crazy that we ended up having these unique and awesome people in our lives 😎
This info is so cool! Thanks for sharing, I find who we surround ourselves with to be interesting. I found my friend group, then we typed ourselves individually and shared the results the next day and we’re all NT and NF haha
as an enfj male, this seems somewhat surprising although understandable. it really makes sense why the way i’ve connected with females throughout the years on a deeper level has been so much easier than a majority of other men.
i'm so glad INTJ women are getting more common. i once heard it was previously the rarest for women, and now we've gone up to number 14! people often doubt me when i say I'm an INTJ, and it's hard enough to find women i relate to as it is, so it's kinda great if you ask me:) -INTJ woman
INTJ woman the rarest type for sure. Any other female masterminds checking in? edit: Guess our extroverted sibling got the cake for this one, interesting
For men, i really wonder how skewed the results are towards ST. The reason why is because society says that men use logic and thinking and women use feeling, but that's not what the scientific data in experiments actually says, women do use less thinking they actually have thw ability to balance all perspectives more to make a more holistic approach whereas men rely on on a set of information at a time. I'd not be surprised if many men answer the questions more on what they feel like they do as oppsed to what they actually do since many men make feeling based decisions constantly (example: all the men who try to flex to the other men with their cars). Essentially, are men answering aspirationally and that's creating a bias in the data because it's self reporting? I would be interested to see how this data changes based on sexuality where gender norms and societal pressure to fit into boxes is less pushed that hetero specific data. - ENTP female (previoudly tested as entj)
I had very similar thoughts! I get the impression that a lot of people, men especially, are conditioned to believe their value based decisions are actually (primarily) logic based decisions. I grew up in a very Thinking dominated household, and learned to value logic heavily, so I tested most of my life as an INTP. In reality, I'm an INFP (female), and only recently learned the real difference between Thinking and Feeling. Even though thinking and acting logically is one of my strongest values, the first question I ask myself about decisions is "what is most important" rather than "what is most logical." I also had to kind of unlearn that making value or preference based decisions was somehow inherently inferior to thinking ones, an assumption I'm sure many people, especially ones identifying as men, face as well. As someone who self reported incorrectly for so long on every single test, I can absolutely see how social expectation and misunderstanding of ones own thought processes could be partially behind the discrepancy.
Well, feelings & emotions are usually most consequential in the social domains. We also see that men are more likely to be introverted, which means they're engaging less with other people. Fun little fact about the human social hormone oxytocin is that it originally started out as a maternal bonding hormone that got generalised to all socialization over evolutionary time. Even now, oxytocin selectively binds to oestrogen & women have more free floating oxytocin than men. There are certainly men who have above average oxytocin & women who have below average levels, but natural variation is to be expected. Statistically, men are more variable than women so it's more likely that you'll find a man who defies the norm than a woman & that's reflected in these MBTI types too. The men are spread out more across types while women are comparatively dominating some types. My personal theory is that this group level standardisation is balanced out by greater individual variability in women which is controlled for by greater self awareness, which is why we don't easily see it in experimental situations. Because group variability is an advantage so it doesn't seem likely that women would forego it to such an extent. A lot of straight men lack the kind of self awareness I personally see in women & queer men & the average IQ for queer people is also shown to be higher. And yeah, the data will be skewed towards cishets because, news flash, cishets are the majority of the population. Further separating the data by sexuality is unlikely to yield much different results unless we eliminate all the straights & then we'll see stuff like more male-identifying Ns & Fs vs more female-identifying Ss & Ts. Ik a lot of bi women who are NT for example. -INTP-J Gay Man fascinated by how the realpolitik necessities of feminist movements continue to have the effect of making people feel there should literally be no differences between the traditional sexes in any way, instead of there simply being no difference in terms of political rights.
This is kinda a chicken vs egg situation. Does society have these expectations on men so men tend to try to be more ST or did men evolve to be more ST so society has these expectations? It's likely a combination where majority of men are ST so some of those that are not may want to or aspire to, skewing the results even more. -ENTP
omg an entp girl analysing 😳 but seriously, now that you mention it, men in general tend to be more explosive and reckless than women. As far as I know, women take more careful approaches down to the most basic thing. For example, teen girls when it comes to drama, very rarely engage in physical fights in a school, they are more discreet and indirect, while boys are much more likely to do that, and then there are men who worry too much about their image and masculinity, the whole 'incel" and "simp" situation which is a whole psychological rabbit hole consisting of a lack of self awareness and insecurities, and they more likely to commit crimes or indulge in behavior that is dangerous not only for themselves but others too, which appears like an unhealthy function pulling the strings here, maybe unhealthy Fi or low Fi? I don't have enough knowledge on how unhealthy types work with grips and stuff so I can't say much here However, as an intp girl, I have noticed that thinker girls tend to be more reckless than feeler ones. Feelers may explode, they may cry, but they are also aware to not cross the line I don't know why that is, I normally would sit down to think more but it is 2 am rn and I need to get ready for -hell- school Gender roles enforced by society must definitely play a role here, in terms of behavior, women are more liberated if you ask me (in western countries), they can have "masculine" and tough hobbies, styles without being judged, while men can't really do that, they can't access the vulnerability and softness associated with femininity that women can A woman can literally wear any men's fashion and not get judged, while a man could wear a dress and cause controversy (I love how I said a paragraph above that I need to go to sleep -_-)
This is kind of what I was thinking. Men learn they have to be Thinkers, and if you give then a simplified test they will say "I am rational". But as a INTJ I always see most of people around me behaving as Feelers. I'm sure most of those men would be identified as feelers in a serious consultation instead of a simple test
I know there's a great chance you won't see this but thanks for the heart Frank! You're an INFJ that people often type as INFP and I'm an INTJ that people often type as INTP. Glad to see we enjoy each others humor :)

I'm curious why ENFJ are so rare, everybody loves them ...I can see ENTJs being rare, they definitely attract assassins. Are ENFJ to busy to make babies or what? How many kids do your ENFJ friends have and if none whyyyyy? Do they marry women that hate kids/love being childless? Sorry for the private questions, but I'm super curious.
I saw a comment saying "being rarest isn't fun because it's being misunderstood at its best" and as an ENTJ woman I can only confirm that. Here are some things I hear from my surroundings all the time: "why can't you be more emphatic" " I mean it's not like you are mean, you are actually very nice "just not my cut of tea person"" "why do you have to be so dominant?" "stop behaving so "unwomanly"" " stop being like that! you have to soothe his ego" "you can't assume competence in all people and be disappointed when they aren't" like all those things, I don't even fully consciously recognise... at least not all the time
Couldn’t relate to the comment as an ENTJ female. I think level of maturity happens for older females with this type, just own it and don’t care what people think. Lol I took that comment as that person is mad he/she is basic.

The best combo. One of my best friends is an ENTP and my dad is an ENTP-I am an ENTJ. They argue with me for an intellectual debate (not to actually learn anything), and I argue for fun. Conversations will last hours and the time spent hanging is so fun because they’re so willing to try new things. Over all though, we may disagree (or not disagree-they can argue any side of any case) on things but we maintain a very strong relationship because of the deep levels we’re not afraid to go.

Sim.
Women aren't the romantic types. The most common are ISFJ and ISTJ. Neither are intuitive. Intuition = art/poetry = a deeper sense of connection = true romance. Any other romance is purely materialistic and aesthetic-based.
As a 20 year old female istj, I honestly wasn’t expecting us to be that common(but it’s fine, I’ll survive). In my life I’m surrounded by basically only N types. My two ex bf are an enfp and an entp, my friends group is composed by two enfps and an infj( to whom I have a really strong connection with) and my brother and dad being enfps and my mom an enfj. In general, from what I’ve observed in the past years, I tend to get along with N types and rarely with S types and I’m pretty sure it has to do with the fact that I’ve always been surrounded by you guys (Ns) and I’m just so used to your kind of humour and way of communicating that I find it difficult to get along with S types. Just wanted to add how infj males are the ones I tend to bond with the most. Don’t know why I shared this, don’t know who cares but hopefully there’s another S type (or N type) out there who has a similar experience.
its great that you shared your experiences because that opens chance for dialogue. what you've said actually is making me think right now in terms of my upbringing, because I'm an ENFJ surrounded by S types (ISTJ, ISFJ, ESFP, ISTP). It had blocked me from chances to share my N but also it might have made me more grounded as I had to hone my conversational skills to get along with S types which in turn might have also made me a bit unused to other N types which I can definitely connect to some experiences in the past with other people as I learnt about relationships. Though I feel I had always been connected with my N, just feeling a bit isolated on that domain in the past; right now I'm just embracing it and once you learn about personality differences you can manage socializing easier anyway. If you don't mind, would you share how N types communicate and make jokes? I haven't got to the point of thinking deeply about S behaviors as a whole so I won't be able to share anything in return (at least for now).
@@acedupspade hey.. first off thanks for your response, I was actually hoping an N would share their similar experience. I can understand where you come from as it’s not always easy to be surrounded by S users especially from an N users prospective ahaha but to answer your question on the “N” humour and way of communicating, I would say you guys have this way of not having to explain jokes or situations, we just look at each other and get exactly what we are thinking or feeling. It’s hard to explain but I’ve been in situations with other S users where I noticed something funny and I tried making eye contact with them, and they had nooo idea what I was laughing at even when I tried to explain it. Obviously I’m generalising as not all S and N are the same. It’s just a pattern I noticed based on those I’ve met and observed during these past years. I hope I answered your question clearly 😊

Practically everyone I know is among the rarest types. Like, I have female ENTJ and ENTP friends, male ENFJ and INFP friends, and I seriously only know like 3 sensors. I guess I just don’t jive with the normies. Maybe it’s because I use words like jive…
How does it feel, arguing day and night over things? I know the ENTJs love a good debate but it’s just for the fact that arguing is fun… ENTPs debate because they don’t know how to agree..
There's intrinsic bias in the data, i.e., those who take the survey AND identify themselves to a gender are inevitably swayed by social forms. Therefore, they will tend to abide by the 'common sense' of man being thinkers and women being feelers - a lot of them are going to be mistyped in this way, especially for IJs and EPs who will tend to bend towards tertiary function if secondary function defies social stereotype. Statistics like this is limited and require explanation, but a wrong explanation is even more dangerous than no explanation, so you cannot expect Frank to explain. Try to come up with your own explanation~
Wow...I am an ISTJ woman and I got mostly frustrated because I attract feelers who mostly hide their emotions. One of my exes was ESFP personality type. Let's just say we didn't get along well. I think I never attracted man who is thinker. I read somewhere that the reason for that is because feelers tend to be attracted to thinkers and that thinkers mostly see problems in relationships while feelers try to fix things. All my female friends are feelers mostly and we have different perspective regarding the romantic relationships and life in general. I'm glad you made this video. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new.
O damn that's interesting....I'm ENTJ female married to an ENFJ male... apparently we're both the "most rare" in our sexes. huh What are the odds of us meeting and getting married? 10 years in two months ayeeee 8)
Actually, it’s the introverted versions of your types: INTJ women and INFJ men are the most rare of their sexes. Even just going by the video, 39% of ENTJs are women, while only 36% of INTJs are women. Then there’s 30% of ENFJs are men, while 26% of INFJs are men.
@@SparkyBites Um, no… the the percentage of females in ENTJs is more than the percentage of female INTJ… as in the video supports what I’m saying: female INTJs and male INFJs are the rarest of their sexes… Which is in contradiction to what you were saying, that female ENTJs and male ENFJs are the “most rare” of your sexes.

Hello there! I’m an ENTP woman too! The first time I took the test I got it as ENTJ which is still my official type on the website but after taking the test a second time I got it as ENTP and I also tried other test which also gave me a mix of ENTP and ENTJ lol 🤷🏻♀️
ENTP female here. I didn't know we're that rare. Looking back, I was always an odd little girl growing up. My friends were mostly male and I rarely connect to other females. I only have a few close female friends in my life and they are mostly intuitive types. The graph showing ENTP as more male actually made sense to me based on my own experiences. lol.
As and ENTP woman i was/am dubted the funny friend and to this day people I just met tell me I give gay/bi vibes like bro I just need the right guy to bring that feminine energy out and its not even that hard like just tell me I look cute or some shit AHAHHAHAHHA
ENFJ stats are the most shocking to me and I knew there were plenty of ESTJ men since that's who I usually attract on dating apps lol (INTJ here) Seeing that the NT/NF men percentage isn't as low as I thought gives me slight hope in finding an intuitive partner I tried an ESFJ and it just wasn't for me, unfortunately. Amazing human tho
The people we attract aren't always necessarily the ones we want. They're the ones who find the signals we give out to be most appealing. Try changing stuff on your profiles, you might see a difference. But micromanaging & curating to one single type isn't ideal either coz compatibility is complex. Balance is key, as always.
@takai akai yeah, I agree. I still date other types that I don't "prefer" but the patterns are the same and the compatibility isn't there. I am more successful when I date NT/NF types, which are very rare to encounter.
@@dialiann I am not sure if it's relevant here but INTP-a male you might be able to encounter one in nature or places where an INTP thinks some examples where INTP could be found is alone in nature or someplace that has an overall Quiet vibe.
I think that social expectations probably are coming into play here. Not only is there not a single feeling type with more men than women or vice versa for thinking types. But the four types with the highest ratios of women are all the xxFJ types, which prefer Fe. And Fe, being attuned to other people's feelings and acting to meet their needs and take care of them, is exactly what women are traditionally expected to do
But social expectations come from reality don't they? At their root. Like, if there weren't more women being Fe rather than say Te, the expectations of women being Fe-like never would've formed. It's also stereotyped that women are more emotional than men, and as you saw in the video, more women are F types than T types - while mostly wrong because alot of women are T types, you can see how the stereotype of women being more 'emotional' would've come to be.
While I think culture surely affects and amplifies gender differences, there might also be natural gender differences and we don't know which one affects more
@@redbest1943 Not necessarily. When people are told something is true their whole lives, they will often ignore all evidence that doesn't fit what they "know" is true and try to shove people into boxes that don't fit rather than reevaluate their entire worldview. There are many, many examples of things societies have thought women were naturally like in the past that were wrong.
@@redbest1943 but what part of reality might we be speaking of? The reality that many women gave birth created the expectation that they do more of the child-rearing. Since their time was spent doing so, it could be argued that this environment conditioned them to think more based on feeling, not necessarily an innate preference.
@@TrueSunara Perhaps - can't argue with that. But also, MBTI isn't so much a measure of personality, rather how you think. Personality is how you think and act while MBTI really just tells you how each type thinks. While mother's may be loving and caring to their children and tell them Fe-sounding things, the mother in her mind may be more Te but has learnt to filter what she says. But yeah - there's no evidence that this Fe association with females doesn't come from women being 'motherly'
ESTP and INFJ are opposite each other and ESTP most male dominated and INFJ most female dominated Nevermind ENTP and INTP ladies are cool they never get angry and I love debating or solving maths with them
Yeah You don't identify yourself as male or female but you are still born with either the xx or xy chromosomes that could influences you in your biological responses
I hope people don't forget that MBTI only involves literally 4 letters which is not enough to define ur personality. No matter how common ur type is, we are still special in our own ways due to us having different life experiences and memories that made up who we are. MBTI is pretty much generalised tbh. Just because certain 4 letters fit ur personality's description doesn't mean that's all who u are. Even if u meet someone with the same mbti personality type as u, u and that person will never ever have the same personality or interests. Idek why I'm typing this long ass essay but I just wanna let yall know that U R SPECIAL AND UNIQUE JUST THE WAY U R so yeah. Even when u r the most common personality type in the world, nobody can ever replace u.
Wow I had no idea We ENFP’s was so popular to have. Though I guess that makes sense because I think a lot more of Gen Z are ENFP’s that I’ve met. Defo met a lot more female ENFP’s though (also it is the best type but then again I’m biased 😂).
@@mallorysandstrom3928 I thought average INTJ's dont like ENFP's 😅. They find us annoying i guess. Cause i've watched some videos where INTJ's expression's like "😒😑". Also i think it's really hard to be an ENFP as a male.
@@forseaa4092 Interesting. Probably if I were trying to reason with an ENFP or needed something from one and the stakes were high and they wouldn't buckle down and see reason, that would be annoying. For the most part y'all are endearing. Those videos with the unamused reactions are probably sometimes INTJs trying to disguise our affection because it doesn't compute. I actually don't much like other INTJs. I find us cold, stubborn, awkward, and very off-putting. It's funny looking back at a couple of friends I was stuck with at one point in my life. At the time I couldn't figure out why these two guys were friends. The pairing was so odd. Now I'm sure they were an INTJ and ENFP. A standoffish weirdo with his warm himbo buddy. @@icecreamcake6238 actually (coming from my side) if I’m with people whom I’m happy with it does energise me. But I don’t like to be around with people whom I’m not comfortable with, I feel I want to go home, and this sometimes make me question whether I’m an introvert lol.
@@icecreamcake6238 In my case, what energizes me the most are the ideas I get from people, situations, activities ... My Ne (extroverted intuition) always wants to collect new ideas. So if I am with new people I get energized, or if I am with known people but in a new activity then too. It also gives me energy to learn something that interests me, or to debate with anyone who thinks differently from me and gives me another point of view and more interesting information. I charge so much energy that I need an hour to relax enough to be able to sleep, because I feel so much energy that it makes me want to run. hahaha On the other hand, if I am with people that I already know perfectly, doing an activity that I have already done many times with them, then I get very bored and make me sleepy ... I cannot help it, if there are no new ideas or nothing to analyze then I don´t get have energy. So I don't know if I have resolved your question. Keep in mind that people with other extroverted functions different than Ne are energized in other ways. Also keep in mind that some extroverts are shy because some "traumas" or bad experiences and they will not enjoy fully the recharging of energy of the social events... Sorry my English, I'm Spanish.
I don't understand the heart part, is it your intuition or your initial feeling about something? I'm INFJ and never understand the phrase "follow your heart", like it's a blood pumping organ what am I suppose to follow? It makes more sense to say go with what feels most alligned with your personal values.
It's this 'head over heart' or 'heart over head' thing, so I'd often make decisions based on what I think is correct, whether I'm going with what I feel (emotion/heart) or with logic (thinking/head) but each time I choose logic over feelings I feel guilty for not choosing heart.
@@defmaybe-s2u I see, I also feel off when emotion and logic don't match, and I have to pick one. I'm more 50/50 about the guilt part. For example, if I use my feelings to pick my university courses, I feel very guilty but if I use logic to pick out an adoptive animal, I feel very guilty. It depends on the situation. Perhaps you score higher on the Feeling vs Thinking part. Mine is just 60% vs 40%.
@@LittleMew133 maybe a combination of intuition and moral code? Just my guess, sometimes your intuition says one thing but you doubt yourself because your logic tells you there is no empirical evidence but your gut instinct tells u this thing "bad" or this thing "good" like a physical sense of dread sometimes. Our limbic system picks up things we dont even know how to say in words I guess.
@@malumachado4561 I used to come into conflict or disregard my intuition a lot more, because I was raised on my ISTJ parent's principle of "where's the evidence?" or "do what is commonly viewed as good or bad". However, as broaden my horizon and understand that there are others like myself, I grew to accept my intuition as a companion for my logic :)
ENTP woman here.. If the stats are actually remotely reliable, then that would mean I belong to the 2nd least common type in women n I'd quite like that to be true.. 🤣
As an ISTP non-binary person, I was just like "WE'RE NUMBER TWO" and "meh". I really hate the stereotypical part with T/F. Lots of men claim to be logical, but don't really behave that way. Plus society pressures people to behave in certain ways. And it's infuriating to be a T type and a woman because you're less likely to be taken seriously.
I computed it this afternoon between two lessons when I was thinking about it, and men INFJ represents only 0.7% of the world population if theses stats are accurate, which makes them quite rare indeed! That's also the conclusion I've experienced myself in my (rather) short INFJ male life, often I tend to think I'm the four-leaf clover lol XD
Is ESTJ really that rare for women? I mean, 5.6% is not much, and yet I can count dozens of ESTJs among my female acquiaintances. Not knowing the statistics, I would have thought ESTJ as more common than ISTJ, for example - but perhaps they're just louder ...
Im so glad he did this video. I find it very interesting that some of the differences between the men and wemon are so different! For example I was shocked by the difference between the T and F preference! Also the difference between the most common and the second most common for men has a difference of 7.9%, whereas it is only .4% for wemon and that the ST types make up 50% of men is insane! I am suprized at how ENTJ are 1.4% of wemon and that INTJs are 3rd least at 2.2%. I am sure I read somewhere that ENTJ and INTJ wemon both were the lowest at 0.9%, so it also intersted me that ENTPs are so low! All of the statistics between the men and female are very interesting!!!

ENFPs would try to learn how to communicate with different animals rather than doing what they should
INTJ would probably be spending a lot of time trying to find the most efficient way to complete a simple task
ISTJs would waste time by refusing to learn a newer and faster way to do things. I believe that in due time, we’ll get there. Media is ever-evolving after all 😉
What you say its absolute true, we need this types of woman in media, especially for the young minds that can learn from them but i cannot help but think that as he said, it was an study from 2018.

MBTI is a spectrum and not the box....(I feel like...)
THE ONLY THING MBTI ASSUMES US TO KNOW
"being rarest is arbitrary we all are variants with different combinations and different degree of traits "
-ENTP
omg an entp girl analysing 😳
but seriously, now that you mention it, men in general tend to be more explosive and reckless than women.
I don't have enough knowledge on how unhealthy types work with grips and stuff so I can't say much here
However, as an intp girl, I have noticed that thinker girls tend to be more reckless than feeler ones. Feelers may explode, they may cry, but they are also aware to not cross the line
I don't know why that is, I normally would sit down to think more but it is 2 am rn and I need to get ready for -hell- school
Gender roles enforced by society must definitely play a role here, in terms of behavior, women are more liberated if you ask me (in western countries), they can have "masculine" and tough hobbies, styles without being judged, while men can't really do that, they can't access the vulnerability and softness associated with femininity that women can
A woman can literally wear any men's fashion and not get judged, while a man could wear a dress and cause controversy
(I love how I said a paragraph above that I need to go to sleep -_-)
This is kind of what I was thinking. Men learn they have to be Thinkers, and if you give then a simplified test they will say "I am rational". But as a INTJ I always see most of people around me behaving as Feelers. I'm sure most of those men would be identified as feelers in a serious consultation instead of a simple test
As an INTP female, I would really like to see a video on how to actually get a relationship started between INTP and INFJ 😂 Magic needed 🤷🏻♀️

I saw a comment saying "being rarest isn't fun because it's being misunderstood at its best"

" I mean it's not like you are mean, you are actually very nice "just not my cut of tea person""
"why do you have to be so dominant?"
"stop behaving so "unwomanly""
" stop being like that! you have to soothe his ego"
"you can't assume competence in all people and be disappointed when they aren't"

@@g.i.r.l. nah my point is just because u have a common personality type doesn't mean u aren't special. Human r way more complex than that

Wow I had no idea We ENFP’s was so popular to have. Though I guess that makes sense because I think a lot more of Gen Z are ENFP’s that I’ve met. Defo met a lot more female ENFP’s though (also it is the best type but then again I’m biased 😂).
As an INTJ female I won't fight you on this . My sister is an ENFP and she is the best. The absolute best.
i think its cause our attention spans are getting shorter XD
@@mallorysandstrom3928 I thought average INTJ's dont like ENFP's 😅. They find us annoying i guess. Cause i've watched some videos where INTJ's expression's like "😒😑". Also i think it's really hard to be an ENFP as a male.
@@forseaa4092 oh, i'm an ENFP and my best friend is an INTJ! ENFP's and INTJ's are actually get along pretty well
@@forseaa4092 Interesting. I imagine it would be difficult to be an ENFP male. Probably a lot of people think you're adorable. Make good choices.
Any INFP 4w5 here?
as a male enfj this video I’m saving this video for bragging rights
INFJ men are rare than INFJ women 🌝
At least that's something to be proud of for me
here to see INTJ's rarity
Yasss
Oh ya
Yes.
yes...
haha
Wow the fact that 1/5 of males are istj and you can't find them in the comments is a bit ironic 😂
Sarcastic? Is ironic what you're looking for?
@@dimwitteddingo maybe 😐 , i don't speak english as a native language .
The robotic stats look awesome, Frank

Jus saw your FRANK JAMES ISN'T INFJ 😂 video and I'm glad to know after being confused for so many months..phew
Now I understand why ENTP females are so underrepresented in general.
~ENTP female here
I gotcha. Now let’s make secret plans to rule the world so WE ENTPs can REPRESENT THE PEOPLE. Just kidding. Or maybe not
~ENTP FEMALE TOO
@@gaurdian_angle good idea 🤣😏
What's it like to be extroverted? Like do you truly feel energized rather than exhausted from being around a lot of people? Or how does it manifest?
I charge so much energy that I need an hour to relax enough to be able to sleep, because I feel so much energy that it makes me want to run. hahaha
On the other hand, if I am with people that I already know perfectly, doing an activity that I have already done many times with them, then I get very bored and make me sleepy ...
My intj female friend thought she was the rarest female type. I gotta tell her she is not the rarest:} -entp
If I don't follow my heart I always feel guilty like I'm somehow betraying myself, anyone else? -INFJ female
STFU "non-binary woman" 🤡 No such thing. Men are logical you just speak with your feelings pos.
@@SAINTxSZN You could've done something decent with your time. But no, you had to come here and be transphobic trash.
Well you're a non binary person so you won't have problem with stereotypical T/F ig
If you are non-binary, how you know "you're number two"?
So does being an INFJ male mean you are extra rare? I feel like I am an endangered species or something.
I'd like to think so, being and ENTJ female.
This is my take from the video (too lazy to do the math but INFJ males could be the rarest)
He didn't slap any "SCIENCEE" in, should I be worried?
Oh crap I forgot
Nooooooooooo
Okay let's see How rare am I? Infp
_After watching_ So, It's 8%
I like how even though we know Frank is an introverted man using fake green screen images as backgrounds, he still legit put on a nice white suit and day. respect for my man frank.👍

-Watch or read what was searched for
-Read a few relevant comments
-Information attained
-Commence in efficiently using/storing new info.
I could be wrong. I don't claim to fully understand him lol. We are almost opposites.

My crush is an ENFJ male
ENFJ Male here who is a Life Coach and also makes content on MBTI in case anyone is interested. I don't think being the most "rare" makes me any more special than anyone else, however, it is very validating to know these statistics because it explains why ever since I was a kid, I had a harder time finding other guys like me.
Anyway, thanks Frank. 🙏🏾
Being rare isnt particularly cool or fun but seeing my dominant and closely following types fall in the last 4 all the time just reminds me "ah yes. I will continue to roam the earth, over-explaining myself in search of my ppl". I don't particularly love that for me. But it does make the ppl I DO click with all the more magical 🥰
