Congrats on 20K subs! I remember the good old days of 2017 when I first starting watching you. Jimmy was so much younger. It's incredible to see him grow up to be the awesome lad he is today.

You're my favorite vloggers - Orlando or not and honestly...... this video is a breath of fresh air and shows the realness of life instead of this fake life of multiple, several week holidays a year like some do to 'show off'. I'm sorry to hear about your redundancy, Jim. You are so right about having a dog around. Lost my dad in May, and for both my mum and I, our dogs have been a great help. Something special with having a pet.

Ho guys! So happy to see you! Sorry to hear about Jim's job, but glad he has found a new one. We lost our dog at the end of last year, but have since gotten a new puppy. They literally are everything, they truly bring so much joy!

What a treat with a new video! We are inside today here in Las Vegas. Yesterday was 117. I am sorry about your position but glad you got it sorted. Our German Shepard/Rottweiler mix puppy is 6 months old now and going through the terrible two's lol. Pro tip: don't get a puppy when your over 60 years old. She wears us out but I can't imagine life without her now. We are biting the bullet and taking our grandmunchkin on a Disney cruise next year to Alaska. Best wishes for a great summer. I imagine young Jimmy is growing fast! Thanks as always for sharing your corner of the world and for the tips on travel. If you go to California a trip to Knottsberry Farm is a must bc they have some great coasters.

If you ever get the opportunity to go to Universal Hollywood, I’d recommend it. Backlot tour = Hill Valley square = the clock tower 🤩 (at least it was when I went there back in 96/97. Still got the Pitball! 😉)

Really sorry you got made redundant Jim! It’s happened to my partner 3 times so know the stress you go through when it happens and how it messes with your head. Love to see people being so sensible with holidays and focussing on mortgages and really balancing life - love that you’ve shared this thank you!

Sorry to hear about your job Jim, but great news you have a new one. Dogs are life and they are amazing at making us feel better. Currently in Orlando and I did speak to Steph a couple of days back saying we were heading to Panda Express for the orange chicken, it did not disappoint! Also I can see Epic Universe from the 12th floor of the Rosen Plaza! Looking forward to any future vlogs, have a good one 😁

Hey guys, hope you had a nice christmas. It's been a tough year, probably the worst of my life but im pushing through. I used to watch your alton towers and weekend vlogs during covid, just thought I'd drop by and say hi.
At alton towers, I've seen theme parks worldwide and another family vlogging channel but never you guys - a channel that I actually watched 😅 Maybe we can have a natter at the towers if i ever do catch you 😂

Just got back from Orlando on a big family trip, my 4 year old niece absolutely loved Tower of Terror, it was her favourite ride and we ended up riding twelve times over three days and Hollywood Studios! Absolutely our favourite Disney park! Glad you're both doing well, and loved this video!!

Also super happy you’ve got your cruises to look forward to 😊 I sit exactly where you said in the theatre Steph - a few weeks ago we went to see Hamilton and sat in the front row in the stalls, I absolutely loved it from there - yes I could see the saliva sprays 🫣 but it was great otherwise I am front row, in the middle in the dress circle. I’m going to see Somewhere Over the Rainbow in Aug for my birthday and Les Mis in Sept and then that’s it for this year but defo want to do more theatre visits next year if I can afford to 🙈 I hope little Jimmy is well, take care 😘 xxx

You don't want to drive from Disneyland to Universal Studios Hollywood, depending on the time of day. We have a special kind of traffic, aka, almost bumper to bumper cars. Ooh we are cruising for the first time in 4 weeks on Iona - to the Norwegian Fjords, not quite the deal you guys got but still pretty good for the 4 of us, can't wait! The 14 year old has got 'fed up' of Florida (what?!) so we are trying to find alternative holidays now to keep him happy (if he's happy we're happy etc etc..). Hopefully the new job will work out for Jim - my husband got made redundant just before the pandemic (crappy timing) but now he's in a much better role and loving life!

Lovely to have you back, sorry to hear about your redundancy, my hubbie was made redundant after 23 years last year, big changes, but now self employed and going good! We are doing a west coast cruise next oct, it stops in Oregon, and will be looking for all the goonies filming locations!!

Skegness will be good, we moved up to Lincs in Feb and liking it alot, getting out and about. Skegness is about 40 mins from us. Good for a few hours out. Can recommend the climbing area, mini golf, lots of amusements.
On hand you have good whippy we go to Fifis on the front, the donkeys are great 👍 fish and chips we recommend Harry Ramsbottoms cooked fresh and good value for money.

Atlantis The Palm was one of our fave holidays ever! The waterpark entry made it worth the price for us, we ended up going every day!

Lovely update. My wife has watched your channel for a while, she was using you guys for research for Disney which was our trip last year for 3 weeks, loved it of course. Also thanks to you guys we just got back from Abu Dhabi, the WB hotel and Yas Island. We had an absolutely brilliant time, such a fantastic experience for all of us. Our daughters loved it as did we. We can’t wait to go back there. We are planning on 2025 as we are off to China next summer. As it was far too hot for walks to Yas Mall, the free bus service to all the places was perfect. Sea World was outstanding, we’ve never seen anything like it. We also found out that WB hotel will be including Sea World tickets in their packages soon which is great news as we had to pay separately on this trip, but it worth it anyway. Anyway, looking forward to watching your next adventure.
Honestly so happy you loved the WB and Yas as much as we did. We still talk about that trip daily and would love to get back over for Seaworld and when they open the HP section. Have a fab time in China, sounds so exciting ❤️

I love how you only make vids you would want to look back on and not just to put out content & I think that’s what’s make your videos so good as it’s genuine,

I was made redundant in 2019, it's never a nice process to go through emotionally or financially, well done for getting a new job! We've been to Planet Hollywood this year and now we've booked Abu Dhabi WB hotel in September. All your fault lol! No seriously, we have very similar tastes and I've decided2023 is the year for our movie themed holidays! Your vlogs help me so much with the decision as they are so informative and answer all the questions I have. I am a little worried some of the rides may be too much for me but also super excited about Sea World! We've done Dubai twice and the first time we stayed at the Atlantis and went to Motiongate so if you have any questions, please do get in touch. Take care of yourselves!

Great to see you back again, you have been missed. Sorry to hear about your redundancy Jim but glad you have found another job. So happy to hear that your dog Holly is bringing you such joy. I lost my rescue dog Fudge on 21st April. She was nearly 16 and nobody could ever take her place. I am 73 and have had at least one dog ever since I was 9. I’m finding it so hard to live without her, and most days I don’t even want to. Enjoy every second with her. X

Have been on Iona six times, deck 8 is a bit strange but you still get to sit out and have some fresh air when you want also location for the ships facilities is great. My wife's top tip is to book a couple of Olive groves as soon as you get on as they're usually fully booked a couple of days into the cruise.
We are very happy with the location and love people watching so it'll be absolutely fine for us and hopefully it won't be too cold to sit out. Thanks for

Sorry about your redundancy & glad to know you got a new job within the year. Completely sensible to pay as much of your mortgage this year as you can. We were so happy to go back to WDW in Summer 22 after having no holidays anywhere since 2019 but it was just not the same. Losing Fast Passes and proper Early Magic Hours is a HUGE impact. Plus we were fleeced for hotel parking and cleaning you had to phone up to get. Park reservations don’t work on a long holiday and we had to go to guest services a few times to swap parks. Glad they’re getting rid of it. We paid for lightning lane for Rise and Guardians. Guardians is amazing. We bought Genie Plus on 2 days and I was up from 7am with alarms set on my phone stacking rides for the late afternoon into evening. Your head is in your phone rather than focusing on enjoying your holiday. We also felt that they had severely cut back on hotel entertainment like drawing classes, crafts and movie nights. We had been planning Japan for this year but got spooked they might bring back some of their Covid travel restrictions so we’ll perhaps go another year. So….this year we ditched Orlando because WDW broke our hearts a bit last year and went to Cornwall for 10nights with hubby, daughter and cocker spaniel. Weather was a bit bleak several days but it was a fraction of the price & we got a break from work and time together. Enjoy Skegness. I hope you have a brilliant time xxx

We are completely hooked on cruising now. We’ve not managed to do yacht club yet, but there have been some fab deals. We’ve don’t PO and MSC and love them both. Not sure PO is worth the extra cost, but my daughter would say it is - as she loves kids club with PO.

We visited earlier this year not long after you guys came back, we stayed at the Atlantis hotel and it was amazing I can highly recommend 👌 jimmy would love it it was perfect for kids, we have two boys our youngest has grown up the same as jimmy they are the same age. I find Alton very poor as a theme park. It needs so a lot more flat rides to help soak up the crowds, like it did back in the 90s. I don’t like these temporary rides that they are doing at the moment.
Disney has priced us out now. Don’t know when we will go back, if we ever will 😢 I agree with your Tower of Terror comments. It is a fabulous ride and i will miss it greatly.
