  • Hi everyone and welcome to my first video of 2024 which is a day in the life vlog of a trainee corporate lawyer in London! It is the first time that I have gone into the office since the Christmas break, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to take you with me!
    Im in my third seat of my training contract, sat with the corporate department, but I have also been getting involved with some tax work, which is why I am doing some tax returns in this video!

    Love your vlogs!! Just a note please try to boycott Zara they put out an awful campaign recently mocking Palestinian deaths! Thank you!

      Thanks Farah! Ahh ok I didn’t realise. I’ve not bought anything from Zara for YEARS before this actually as I hate their material but will add that to the reasons I don’t shop there. Xx

    How to find a job after giving sqe? U have any idea about how to find a job for solicitor.

      Hello, I'm not totally familiar with the SQE route as I have not taken it myself. I believe you need to complete the SQE and also two years qualifying work experience. I would start by apply for training contracts or paralegal roles. If you can get the firm to sponsor your SQE that would be ideal, otherwise you will need to self-fund.
      Law firms usually list their dates for training contract applications on their websites. I've never worked as a paralegal so I don't know the best way to get a paralegal role.
