It's too bad about prince of persia. That game was super legit, and no one played it.
I think they priced themselves out for a lot of people. The genre is typically defined by its brevity and repeating gameplay and exploration. Asking $50 for it was kinda steep.

@@rikudoubapeck I suspect that was intentional, given the recent DLC announcement "Mask of Darkness." Lots of speculation that it's basically cut and expanded content concerning Radjen.

Pirnce of Persia is undoubtedly the most underrated GEM in years, if not decades - its gameplay is insanely perfect, level design and platforming is top notch, and boss battles are epic ❤
Nine Sols arguably has the best plot Metrodvania has to offer thus far so it's my game of the year .
Most Metrodvania has weak/ convoluted story , or story that's too shallow you don't even care .
Nine Sols, however, tells a gripping story while keeping all the best part of Metrodvania.

mine too. Nine sols is sooo good
it started super strong for me. Currently (about 4 hours in, a bit after the first main boss) at a point where i have legitimately no clue where to go tho. spent about two hours hitting all sides of the map that were dark
