picked up a uber lyft customer his car was the gt3rs . he said he got it over sticker 25K$ so maybe it was like 300 K $ ?? he mod it out put in another 100K$ DAMN thats like half a mill
Waste of money. Clear coat is on your car to protect the base coat. You can get light scratches and they will flat sand / buff out clear coat. Get scratches in your PPF and you need to replace it. Get a deep scratch and deep chip in either PPF or paint and it's a repaint/re PPF. If you taking your car to a body shop for a respray on a panel then yes it's probably more expensive to do than replace the PPF. However if you can repaint yourself then it's a lot cheaper to paint than replace the PPF.
