    That's a great point about "don't anticipate contact" instead of "exaggerate follow through". I've been telling people to exaggerate follow through for years, and I'd like to think I have a large amount of pool knowledge, but I've never heard "don't anticipate contact", and that makes way more sense, especially since the exaggerated follow through does cause the tip to come up. Good stuff.

    I discovered the same problem you had (#3) of tensing up causing the cue tip to hit low and to the right. I discovered it using a practice cue ball. First seeing where I hit (as you say, specially when I hit harder) and then worked backward and it was easy to see why. It he,led a lot!

    World champ pool player told me “play for money”. It helps develop your nerves. Even if it’s only for a dollar.

      It definitely changes the feel, but I find tournaments more challenging. You have to play good enough all day. In money games you can just double up until you win and break even.

    Glad to see you're back to making vids! I'm really enjoying some of the updates on the app. The break speed calculator is super cool (this alone makes premium worth it for me). The lessons are definitely helpful as well. Will there be any other premium only content available in the future?

      I am in the process of filming full video lessons for premium users. I'll probably post some of the snippets here on UA-cam, but Premium will unlock the full videos on the app.

    Very good advice. Out of curiosity, who are you? Maybe I missed it somewhere.

      Just a guy who plays pool decent. Not a pro, but would like to try if I had the time to put on the table.

    Love the one about stroke through as if the cue ball isn't there. Great thought to stop deceleration. I'm glad to see you back 🙏🏼

    Long time player here and I am guilty of what I call clinching my grip at impact the result is never good. Tough to have a consistent grip pressure all the time.

      I've gotten better with mindful practice, but it still creeps into my stroke occasionally.

    You always have the best advice. Its the smallest things that make the biggest difference. I suffer from the exact same things. I do better once warmed up and not tense

      I have the SVB Cuetec Cynergy for my playing cue. My break cue is the Predator BKIII. My jump cue is the Cuetec Propel.

    can you tell me the location of the pool hall you used to play in before you got your own table?

    • @WorldofPoolandBilliards
      @WorldofPoolandBilliards  8 місяців тому +1

      It is a place called Nub at Gunja Station in Seoul. Go to the poolinseoul website. There is a list of pool halls that are focused on pocket ball here in Korea instead of 3 cushion.
