What's your favorite (and least favorite) Sean Connery Bond flick? Check out my Letterboxd here: letterboxd.com/ClearCritique/

I would say for me , The Best James Bond film, might be Casino Royal (2006). but that is a soft reboot. However I really like The Living Daylights but the 2nd half of that film, loses me abit. I was going to say Skyfall but , The best James Bond film for Me would be The Spy Who Loved Me

I actually talked about the Spy Who Loved Me here, and why it may be Roger Moore's best here: ua-cam.com/video/NijdMDYlY9A/v-deo.html

Never heard anyone disliking Kerim Bey. He’s one of the most likeable allies in all of Bond. And his character doesn’t lack depth at all. Bond even spent time with his sons.

Sons?! I didn't know he had any, he should've said something.

Dr. No is the best of Connery's run, in my opinion. The big action set piece at the end is not great, but everything else in the movie is. Fantastic at setting up Bond as a character, great locales, strong villain and character dynamics, I could go on and on.

Like you, my fav Connery goes back and forth between these two movies. I would say FRWL has more going on, and more tension and spy craft, whereas GF is more light-hearted and focused on the ride, rather than the intricacies of the plot. However, all the elements are executed so well that it doesn't matter as much, unlike other entries that try to go this route like DAF, MR and DAD.

My apologies for sleeping on this one Mr. Conger. After watching this and the Sean Connery section of your Bond films tier list, we see pretty eye-to-eye on Connery’s Bond films. Goldfinger is a standout, and Connery had to crawl so all other Bonds after him could run.
What are you thinking of next for Connery? You could go out of the box and do Thunderball vs. it’s non-canon remake: Never Say Never Again.

Normally I'd compare the worst 2 Connery films next, however both my recent Bond videos massively underperformed, so I have to rethink when to do the next one. Glad you enjoyed the videos!

@@ClearCritique Understood man, still the best movie reviews on UA-cam IMO. And thank you!

12:32 to be fair here, this was a censorship edit, the BBFC thought Bond's following line was too risqué. Otherwise, great video as always!

@@ClearCritique Just to point out that the turkish guy (forgotten the actors name) who is allied with James Bond in From Ruissa with Love had cancer at the time and was really ill, so that may explain his performance. He was good, but as I have never seen the actor in any other film I have nothing to compare him too.
