I’ve bought 3 Knackpacks, this will be 4, I need a travel bag/duffel in my bag collection as my present bags are all edc/travel. I don’t care about “sexiness” in my bags all I care about is form and functionality. Good in depth video 👍🏽
If Nomatic's Travelpack had materials like Knack, it'd be a bigger winner to me. Not a duffel person though. Currently have a series 1 and it's a great bag. Wish I could get the inside with the gray, the orange inside it is a bit much. They should've use the fabric cuts to put at least one quick access on the front.
My one bag travel it's the atd1 from atd1 supply that go from 21l to I think 55l the good thing it's that you can set the backpack int 30, 40 l or all of the size in the middle . And its right when you have a backpack that can make all of this stuff you lose something, but if the world ends, I know what bag I chose because it can do everything. By the way day by day I rotate 3 backpack for a edc like Modern dayfar backpack, gr bullet 15l or Rff 12+
Knack got close with this one, but I am baffled as to why they didn't carry the front admin panel over from the series 2. The bag just doesn't work for EDC without it. Fail! 😢
I've been a Knack owner in the past, saw this convertible, and I really wanted this to be the "one bag to rule them all". But after a month, I took advantage of the (hassle free!) return policy to send it back for a full refund (minus shipping). What were the showstoppers? * A BIG one for me is the lack of any external zippered pocket except the one I could take or leave - the water bottle pocket. No quick access pockets of any kind...I think they expect you to risk unzipping the main compartment to use the top pocket on the flap as a "dump pocket" going through security, riding the train, etc. * Next was the water bottle pocket encroaching on the interior a bit too much. (I use a Hydroflask slim 24 oz. bottle with the wide mouth). * For me, as a bigger guy, I found the straps not super comfortable on a couple of trips I took with the bag. * The luggage pass through was a PAIN. When the bag was really full with my laptop in the back pocket, it was really hard to slide the bag over the handle of my wheeled carry-on. I SOOOO wanted this bag to work out because of the expandability, but because of the cons that both Aaron and I experienced I just can't recommend it. BTW, the bag I ordered to replace it is the Aer City Pack Pro. I'm still in the honeymoon phase, but other than a lack of expansion this one seems to check all the boxes for me! 🙂

Hell yea! I’m glad to hear Knack Pack is finding its super fans - they are a really impressive brand :)
Wow! This bag is right up my alley…super cool but I’m still holding out for the one you’re building. I will check out some of their other packs
Yea Knack Pack is highly underrated
Great review man, clear, organized and packed with the proper humor. Keep posting and good luck in your journey of building best backpack.
appreciate that dude!!
Just ordered one via your link. Thank you for a fun review
Hope you enjoy it! Please let us know what you think of the bag after testing for a few weeks
I have the Knack pack large backpack and the duffle is a better configuration IMO. Since it can shrink to a small size, it is perfect for daily use.
good point!
Great video as always!
do you plan on reviewing the Langly Alpha Globertrotter XC by any chance?
Thanks so much! And no, it’s not on our radar at the moment
@@Nomads.Nation I see, thank you!

I can’t wait to review the atd1- I’ve heard so many amazing things about it
Do you like this over the Black Ember Forge?
This - lighter
Whoa this is a strange but cool bag I don’t think I’ve seen a bag that expands that much meaning the convertible part
Yea it’s an impressive amount of expansion
@@Nomads.Nation yeah it’s wild.
Hope you’re having a great week my man! And if not here is some good vibes! 🌟

This not the briggs and riley comfortable backpack duffel.
Never tested a B&R but I’ve heard good things about
