We spent 500 DAYS TRAVELLING & Overlanding CENTRAL AMERICA from Canada to Costa Rica & Back! Find out what we LOVED & HATED, what made us LAUGH & CRY & what SCARED US! We tell you our favorite campsites, FAVORITE COUNTRY & what we missed most from home. After 500 days of travelling Central America the adventure is not over, in the fall we are hitting the road for our next big adventure.
We are car camping/overlanding in our ROOF TOP TENT through Central America. We drove all the way from Canada to Nicaragua with our 2 bulldogs Tigger & Penelope to our new home in San Juan del Sur Nicaragua. We loved it so much that we are back on the road!!! We spent 8 months exploring COSTA RICA & NOW we are traveling north, spending 1 month in El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, USA & visiting family back in Canada for the Canadian summer, join the ADVENTURE!

Great video!! Keep them coming!! I love that you all are enjoying your travels and soaking up the culture and hospitality that Central America offers. Don't skip the Caribbean side of Costa Rica! Also, you haven't seen anything yet when it comes to wildlife and beautiful beaches. Wait until you get to Panama!

We did visit the Caribbean coast while in Costa Rica it was very beautiful. We found there were not as many camping options on that side but many nice small boutique resort style hotels. We had originally planned to go all the way to Panama but there was a screwworm outbreak in Panama that can affect dogs, so we decided to skip Panama this trip but it is absolutely on our bucket list.
