I come here twice a year to camp. its free camping and only 5 minutes walking distance into the town from the campsite Great lookout tower at the back of the campsite there are some old places to go and look at just out of Maldon for those who want to come and visit this beautiful place if you are coming from Melbourne Victoria head towards Bendigo on the Hume Highway then turn off towards Castlemaine there's a big sign you cannot miss it can you follow through towards Castlemaine and then you will see a sign saying Next turn off to Maldon about an 1 hour drive from the Hume Highway. If anybody wants to know the exact address of the campsite feel free to ask me
Cheers mate
