    Lmfao! "I think we should give some points for the unseen Tony Slattery. Looked like he was having some fun back there." lol it did. I love how Clive always gives Tony all the points XD

    "Tony will be providing the hands for Jim, so he doesn't have to worry about that..."
    Au contraire, Clive...

    Looking back at this, that's quite possibly Steve Frost's best episode. I've always felt he was underrated on this show because the frantic Slattery is just easier to notice.

    "IS THIS MY DAUGHTER'S HAND WHICH I SEE BEFORE ME!?! Yep, it is."
    I never thought I would ever enjoy remembering Macbeth till now!

    Great line up! I love Tony Slattery and Jim Sweeney! Josie is my favorite female performer and I like Steve but I prefer him with Ryan and Colin on the show

    I've noticed that many people in general are confused about the words pathetic and pity. Pathetic literally means deserving of pity, and both are used interchangeably as an insult or in a sympathetic way, and the only difference really is how the person perceives hardship, or how much they like the individual in question. People say "I pity you" or "you are pathetic" as insults, but a pathetic person is just a person deserving of pity, and pity is a good thing. It's pretty weird.

      Nice of them to make fun of Jimmy Saville long before we ever knew why it was necessary to do so.

    It's neat when Clive mentions RSC Royal Shakespeare Company. (Any reference to Shakespeare in the UK is different PERSPECTIVE if referenced in the US, because UK is native LAND)

    Steve does that "No win no win no win" a few times throughout his appearances. What does this refer to?

    • @bobbyshaddoe3004
      @bobbyshaddoe3004 3 місяці тому

      Its not 'no win', its 'now then now then now then', which is reference to Jimmy Saville. He was one of thr most popular and well loved stars of British media for a long time, until it was revealed after his death that he was a serial rapist and pedo.

    They didn't have hair straighteners? My mother straightened her hair in the 1960s...

    I know for the women back then they didn't have hair straighteners, but what about the men? How come there were so many curly-haired guys back then and now there aren't? Chip had curly hair, but now it's straight... what's the process there? Cos I wouldn't have thought men would ever do their hair.
