This man is the only thing standing between blizzard and buffing pharah. For everyone else, she's trash, for yznsa she's God. If they buff pharah, nothing will be stopping him from ruling overwatch with an iron fist.

She is trash coz most people don’t get a mercy pocket. He tried doing a plat to gm on pharah but quit after the first game coz no one would pocket him, he had like bronze damage in plat without a mercy..
i mean she kinda is just overshadowed by echo whos even more overtuned and broken. her damage output is insane, especially with the fact her weapon is splash dmg based and has huge missile hitboxes

The only real way is to play pharmacy, but with 2 good hitscans focusing you, that can also get shut down quick. She is probably the worst DPS to pick right now compared to all the hitscans, and even if you wanted to play a flying character just pick Echo.

This player has some huge BDE because of how much hitscans dominate the ladder. It's awesome to see this because things are much more difficult for them and yet they commit while working their playstyle against others. Some of the shots they nail are just nasty.

The thing I really love with overwatch is how, sometimes, an unknown player will start playing 1 hero and play it on a whole'nother level of mastery, then becomes famous and sometimes even feared. YZNSA is a perfect exemple, but I'm also thinking of ball and GetQuakedOn who mastered the mechanics of their character, or even ANS who has just the best wido aim in the game from super far away
Ans does not have the best aim. Aim is not a good metric to judge snipers by. Ans has godtier aim but so does every widow player at 4k sr. What sets him apart is his gamesense, positioning and decision making. He outsnipes other huge name hitscan players by balancing a conservative play style with great aim. He plays literally perfectly on widow.

I was born with arthritis and 2 eye diseases and they're a huge problem for anything I do in my life. I used to be bronze, then climbed to gold, then left the game for years, then when I came back my skill level was silver

As tilted as that guy in Berglunds game was, he was still very correct. Pharah hasn’t been usable in months/years and then all of a sudden this freak of nature shows up and everything people have gotten used to has changed. It’s really cool

It's not flooded with hitscans in particular. So the thing about the top 10 of dps is that there is only 3 player: Kevster (Every Shanghai Dragons icons), Shockwave (Every Phila accounts) and YZN (every Dallas Fuel accouts). So Yznsa is pretty much rank 2 dps with 2 hitscans around him.
His been hard boosting on ps4 for so long now he better be the best pharah, plus no one plays pharah anymore so no one is use to playing against her, not including everyone in the EU on ps4 is a pharah main
This is the perfect example on why picking an off meta hero can change the game. They don’t even know what to do against the pharaoh and it makes them play differently

I don’t care if he’s no longer console; I’m STILL scared of T500 lobbies on PS4. He has ROLLED my teams many of times. And it doesn’t get easier to take over time.
He almost got his team to the top of Contenders. The thing is they played heavily around him and at the league level it is generally the player who needs to play around the meta. He is an amazing player but there are tons of players who are incredible at a particular hero that aren’t brought into league because there are other players who specialize in either one or two meta heroes or play like 8 different heroes to an amazing level. I think the top in most heroes was Hydration with 14 heroes across support, dps, and tank.

As a tank player pharah is my least favourite hero to play into because there is not one hero I can play that can even hit her so if my dps are worse it’s a free loss

A good Pharah with a pocket is really hard to beat, because - a good part of ladder players is to proud to switch to counters right away - it puts immense pressure on the hitscan player to hit many consecutive shots, while he can get double tapped with splash damage easily in comparison - killing Pharah usually requires coordination and awareness - Pharah gets rez often - D.VA is currently not a strong default pick imo and other tanks are not really effective at countering her reliably
I played against one of his alts mid 2020. His Pharrah was the most anoying thing ever, after playing 2 games against him I instantly left the game and didnt played for a few days

A good Pharah with a pocket is really hard to beat, because
- a good part of ladder players is to proud to switch to counters right away
- it puts immense pressure on the hitscan player to hit many consecutive shots, while he can get double tapped with splash damage easily in comparison
- killing Pharah usually requires coordination and awareness
- Pharah gets rez often
- D.VA is currently not a strong default pick imo and other tanks are not really effective at countering her reliably
