- We’ve been told that relentless hard work is the key to success, but as a result, professionals around the world are burning out. Is it even possible to build a sustainable career you feel good about? If only you could make your work feel effortless! In this talk, Sneha Mandala, an ICF Certified Professional Coach, describes the two factors that can consistently help you get into a ‘flow state’ at work, making your day feel more energizing, natural, and free-flowing - ultimately reducing burnout.
Sneha Mandala has flexed and flowed through cities, cultures, and careers. The only thing that keeps her grounded is her mantra that every day should feel effortless. When she discovered that her best and most inspired work came from being herself and finding flow, she made it her mission to empower others to make their work feel effortless and achieve their peak performance This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. 1. drive your work you love
2. work style & environment
3. own your career, turn work into game
She just described something that I figured out just now at my 40's. This really makes all the difference. Not only for the person but for the company. At the end, productivity and satisfaction at work goes hand to hand. I believe this is one of the biggest switches we will have following psychological safety.
I appreciate you resonating with this 'Effortless Future of Work', Rafael :)
I will be sharing Sneha's talk with my colleagues.
"In the zone." I hadn't felt that in years and if I did it was a fleeting moment. The success train is a sales pitch and that's okay if you buy into it. The most amazing thing is when you recognise you have a choice as to how you're going to take this all in. Chasing success is a tireless commitment. Recognising success in the moments, seeing there is challenge is a process. This is not the beginning or the end, its a journey of peaks and valleys with lessons and triumphs to be contemplated and/or enjoyed. The mind is a silent achiever, it will give you as much disappoint, drama or joy that you program into it.
In my experience it doesn't matter how many times you're headhunted to somewhere else, if you're not fully engaged with your work you'll feel trapped.
That is so true, Slava - 'the shiny new object' syndrome that I share in the talk... No point in burning out in a new job even if it pays higher.
Right from the start I was completely drawn in on how she perfectly described the dangled carrots of career building. Just keep working harder and harder, take on more responsibility and keep on doing it every single day. In the meantime, in the name of career and driving at the wheel of success there goes another birthday, and the many events along the way. To do lists, racing through the day to get it all done, running to or racing through traffic. One day melts into years of being in the game, playing the game and then what? The person you once were drains away. This a wonderful talk about how to turn that mindset around and add purpose to living, not just working. Childlike curiosity doesn't have to be lost, though it sure does require acceptance. This age old belief of boss & employee, driven by measurable results turns data into action and matter of fact of decisions based on bottom line numbers and machines. Since Covid, and for the first time "burnout" is a new buzz word and mental health is now a recognised detractor to the bottom line. And so is the uncovering of modern slavery.
Well put, Mike!
Are you okay, Mike?
The core message is so grounding…made me really go inwards and reflect on some tough questions on how and why I do what I do at work, and how I can get more productive effortlessly. This talk is going to stay with me for a long time - in-fact for as long as I have a career!
More productive, effortless - that's the key, Ruchika! Daoism says we should focus on 'being' than 'doing'. The internal reflection should sure help! All the best :)

Congrats Sneha!! What a great talk. Presence, poise, and message all look effortless.
😊 Thank you so much, Solita! The experience on stage definitely felt effortless to me
What a great talk! Delivered with poise, humor, smiles, and three easy actionable steps to finding flow, effortlessness and joy in our work. Well done!
I concur! This may sound weird but you sound like a very positive person. I’d like to be friends if you don’t mind
Thank you so much, Jane - keeping the talk actionable was of utmost importance to me. 😊
@@snehamandala can I buy you dinner any time soon?
Less than a minute in and already I can relate! Took me a very long time to figure out that we can decide what success looks like.
Thanks for this informative content.

Wow !!!! Sneha speech is enlightening, stimulating ,…… and just amazing🥹❤️ proud to be your cousin 😇🥰
I always wonder how much of a difference mindset and inner dialogue make. We are a species so void of compassion for others but even more so for ourselves.
Exactly right. Human beings are not lazy. We want to be connected and useful creating an abundant, needed service or product. Let the machines do the soulless repetitive work of factories. Tax the robots, and fund a UBI that will free humans up to study what they love, volunteer and work out of their gifts and strengths.
Ha! That would be awesome!!
That was Authentic stuff. Going with the flow means Following your PASSION and making it a PROFESSION.
People follow Careers and Jobs looking at the Salary and Perks.
People should instead follow their PASSION and Spend 10000 hours PRACTICING & PERFECTING doing what they Enjoy.
Thank you Sneha for your Wonderful Speech with a Great message.
You are also a Great Public Speaker.
Wow !! Great job, Sneha!! Totally agree with the concept of flow state 🔥🔥
Do what you love, that is the answer.
Do more of what you love, yes, but more importantly, do it the way you love to do it. Naturally, authentically.
What a phenomenal Speech! We spend most of our time at work in our lives and we should make our work life effortless, This speech is a reminder for every one of us to see our work life whether we feeling burnout, struggling, or effortless?
That question hit the nail on the head, Ankit! Thank you for sharing :)
Thought provoking Sneha
Have a long and healthy life
She is excellent ----
Great!
Great Sneha!
That's a great talk, I'm inspired to increase my drive to do things by doing more of what I like! I appreciate you taking the effort to convey this so succinctly!
Thank you, Siddhant - don't forget to do those things that you like, in the WAY you like too! Those two factors will create the best conditions for flow. :)
Pretty interested to see what she has to say, we all need to work to pay bills so making it feel effortless would be a plus.
It would be a MEGA plus! ♥️ I hope the talk resonated with you.
Inspirational 🤩🏅
👌Awesome ..👍Great job. Very good speech and nice presentation with excellent stuff.💐 Congratulations to Sneha mandala and her family.🤝
Definitely appreciate my family's support through this journey. Thank you Kirankumar garu!
Attitude is everything, or so they say! Change is easier said than done. Thoughts verses action, lists verses doing, requires discipline. Mind over matter is a heck of an internal conversation, and most likely the mind is eager to deliver a conditioned or learned response. Tie in some expectations, desires to be accepted and highly avoiding anything that might attract being excluded, can fill you with debilitating fear, the kind that freezes you. Its not the thoughts that change you, its the actions wrapped around your daily mantra and what your working toward rather than staying stuck where you are. Change is not meant to be easy because if it was you'd miss the joy of seeing effortless possibility. Hold it gently with full awareness.
Wow! What a talk. Just amazing. ❤
Thank you, Anoop :)
Extremely good 👍
Wow Sneha.keep doing

👏👏👏
Why is it that I don't like the idea of "every day should feel effortless", but then again I kind of find myself going down that direction sometimes and most of the time?
Good one Sneha. Way to go 🥰
Thank you, Rakesh ♥
What an Amazing lecture and info.. Useful to millions to lead a effortless job 👌👌🌹
Thank you so much! This concept is so underrated for corporate work culture! :)
Excellent💯👍👍👏👏👏
I have burnt out in 7 jobs so far and I am just 32.
Wow super 👍
Amazing
Laughed out loud when at 10:00 minute mark Sneha said that I should "add more drive to my work" not sure how that would make it fee more effortless.
I don't think you fully understood the point there. Sneha explains in the next few seconds that "adding more drive to your work" means finding those tasks in your workday that make you feel more driven. It doesn't mean doing your work with more drive. It means to explore and discover what elements in your work already drive you - and start including more of those in your workday.

In ancient times and in our times, Muslim communities have been at the forefront of innovation and education.
And this is important because no development strategy can be based only upon what comes out of the ground, nor can it be sustained while
young people are out of work.
Many Gulf states have enjoyed great wealth as a consequence of oil, and some are beginning to focus it on broader development.
But all of us must recognize that education and innovation will be the currency of the 🌏 *21st century*

Admire your courage in breaking the shackles and be different from the usual rhetoric. In India, Patriarchy kills women.
We often need life changing events in our lives to wake us up, that career and work is not life, it is just means. Love is the only answer.
Sometimes someone gets a carrier base on him passion. it looks more easier and happier than someone who gets a carrier without any passion anymore. therefore, the condition is too different. Its looks like feel more effort than.
She’s super pretty.

God loves you and takes care of you for the arrival of this message to you. God exists and He is the one who controls the universe. The biggest loss that a person can lose in this life is to live and die without knowing God and His Messenger Muhammad and the Islamic religion is the last religion after the Torah and the Bible. I advise you who read this message to read The Qur’an is translated in its own language, and after that, you can decide whether you are convinced of it or not. What is your feeling after death, and you see what awaits you from God’s torment, an eternal loss of intelligence to know and read, and you have the judgment after your conviction.
A $43,000 profit sent to my portfolio each week, Ms. Angela cole car is amazing.
I’ve heard a lot about trading and investing with Mrs Angela Cole Carr and how good she is.
Same here I earn $13,000 a week. GOD bless Angela Cole Carr, she has been a blessing to my family.

I listen to Audible while working and the time goes flying so damn quick. Half the money I make I put into the stockmarket and the other half I just live off of and pay off my bills etc.
What do you do for work? I find it hard to read and write while listening to audible files
I'm a little tired of hearing I'll feel so much better if I bring my "authentic" self to work. I work in a rigid framework and bringing your quirks would not be tolerated.
Hmmmm. My work is effortless..... but is it effortless *enough*?
Touched, inspired and thrilled.
Consider us slayed. 🔥
Work needs to stop being the most important thing in a persons life. Faith and Love are the ingredients to freedom and to peace.
Poor Sneha! Being an engineer and living your parents' dream for you and being burnout.
Iranian people need your help . Iranian girls are being arrested, beaten, robbed and even killed by moral security police for not wearing hijab. Mahsa (Zhina )Amini was a 22-year-old Iranian girl who was taken to the moral security police center after being arrested by the Irshad patrol and suffered a concussion due to the police hitting her on the head and died.
We cannot walk easily in the streets due to fear of the police. we protest so we can get our rights but they shoot us with gun and attacking with electric shocker. age doesn't matter to them, recently they shot a 10 yo girl and a 15 yo boy.
In iran police use ambulance to transfer people that they get in the streets to prisones. they won't use it for injured people and they brought them from hospitals so they can do what they want easier. we have no official information of where they take people and what they do to them. we know so little and even that is from the ones who had the chance to comeback alive. we need help please.
Meth. The answer is, meth.
PS: Don’t do drugs kids.
Actually it seems like you missed the RCA… CHOICE was the initiator…
Nice! But she is became actress not engineer. If she know difference between soldering and welding it will grate no end!

Effortless so you can work more, sure your boss will be happier. Where does all this come from?🙄
Find your passion and get into Flow.
Seems like it reached India now..
Sorry but this talk was just a copy of content that is presented in the Internet everywhere.
And at the end she just reviewed the concept of Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.
Yes the robots are coming. Doing more and more of the routine boring jobs.
yes, we just have to hope society has a way to support us when those jobs go away
