How insane is the place where we are in time that this song is something that’s really happening. Whomever you vote for, if you are too scared to tell your spouse because of shit that might happen then it’s time to leave.
Nice work, Bri! Great song with excellent timing. Sorry I had to miss you in Poth a couple of weeks ago. Glad you got Uncle Dan on stage to do some rock music again. I'm gonna share this with all my Libertarian friends.
Honestly, music is an escape from the relentless bombardment of politics. So that’s strike 1. Being proud of going and doing something behind your spouse’s back, strike 2. Voting for Kamala, strike 3. Ballads, love songs, heartache. Do a live album with no tejano chit on it. Just being real. And I’ve been right before.
A. She’s allowed to write and sing about whatever she wants. Freedom of speech. B. Music has always had politics sprinkled in, only most country music has been right leaning. C. Being scared of your husband to have to do something without him knowing is a real and scary issue for women. D. Voting for women’s rights, bodily autonomy is the right thing to do. E. Trump is a thief(stole money from a charity to get a painting of himself made),cheater(3 wives/pornstars), liar(dogs and cats), and rapist(well adjudicated rapist, but that’s the next best thing. Do F. Voting for a progressive candidate and Women was the best idea. And if you don’t like the way she’s going with her “crap” then Kid Rock is on tour. You can go sing cowboy with him
Nowhere in this song that she promotes either candidate, she just saying that the character in the song is scared to tell her husband. So you might want to watch us a few times and with the lyrics.
@ I was just trying to read this and understand your comment If you follow her, you’ll know which way she leans and how she think none of this should be a surprise. And like my other comment said if you’re afraid to tell your spouse something then that person should not be your spouse , it’s not like hiding Legos or sneaking out to go gardening doing something that’s really really really important and if you’re afraid to tell your husband, you’re voting for somebody that he doesn’t like when it’s time to leave But you may not understand that
Great tune, lyrics, singing, and above all VIBE!
Great tune by our home town star.
Excellent!!!
Great tune!
Texas' best singer-songwriter. Great one. Good timing!
So fun to meet and listen to you last night at Manor Mill! Sharing this with lots of friends!
I'm sure that there are many households that can relate to this song.
If there’s a country song that talks about it you know there’s plenty of it going on.
Heck yes! Good timing on this one!
I miss you Bri

I don't know about where you live, Bri, but I haven't pulled a curtain to vote since before I moved to Indiana in 2001.
Some places still do.
Smaller towns mainly
