You gotta change your check valve too. That's why you got water in it. Check valve went bad. Some usually drill hole in pump to release water so it won't stall out again
well yesterday that brand new optispark that I just put on last weekend started shooting fire sparks into the back of my waterpump... I have no idea what happened... guess what I'll be doing all weekend...?

I just replaced the waterpump and tbe optispark on my 95 impala X highway patrol car and now the little spark plug wire that runs from the optispark up to the coil is spark jumping at the coil... should I change the wire and the coil or just put some Dielectric grease in that plug wire?
What does that hotckis brace actually do? I have 3 of these cars and since it’s only holding onto the radiator support that’s on rubber bushings it’s still able to flex. Please don’t be offended. I just couldn’t deal with that in my way.

My car surges and I have the dtc error code that says my secondary air pump is faulty. Do you think this is why my car surges? Thanks in advance if u reply
Wrong, good sir. Here in NorCal I know several people who had issues passing visual inspection. You have to find the right smog station that will overlook that. I also know from personal experience too.
@@96_kingz I'm sorry. Let me correct what I said. Not enough people will ever want the air pump, that they would put it back into production and back on the shelves as readily as other parts. There maybe a lot of homies in Cali that need it- but the rest of the world doesn't. I know all about Cali, which is why I'm no longer there. El Cajon Blvd. Has a ton of smog shops that barely do a visual. They mostly just care about the sniffer/cels/monitors. The second I tried to smog above interstate 8 (the richer side of town), the guy busted out an old GM book out and started tracing vacuum lines... Good luck

If you delete will the CEL not be on?

No. Car surges is most likely something else. Check IAC and other basic maintenance items

I removed mine... 94 SS, no significant mods. No issues with emission test, car emissions are about as good as my honda accord.
and no check engine light or issues related to the air pump being missing

If you live in California, you will still need it to pass "visual" inspection. If you are in another state that doesn't require the pump, delete it.
Nobody is going to be asking for an air pump for these cars, especially with the TSB out, saying to just disable it.
