Man, this has been the single-most helpful video I have ever seen on getting familiar with your own sense of balance. Aside from a couple of days with training wheels as a child I have never ridden a bike before now I'm 40 and I am desperate to learn. I can not wait to try this out and it just feels very simple and confidence building, it feels right to me. I might look like a fool doing it in my neighborhood but so be it. Thank you so much for this video!
My elementary school corridor had a bilboard that said:
"There is no shame in not knowing. There is only shame in not being willing to learn."
So only petty neighbours may laugh, but that's their problem.
Stay cool and enjoy the learning. It is well worth it!

That is a trekking bicycle - aluminium frame by Kellys (Slovakia), assembled with parts I chose & had at hand.
