Jung Seung Hwan is incredible. Yoo Heeyeol also praised saying that he is a real singer and that he would even make an special episode at Sketchbook (Yoo Heeyeol's famous music show for professional and respected singer) for Seung Hwan. And that is a sky high compliment a singer can possible receive.

This talent is once in 10 years. I wouldn't give him a 10/10. It would be too low. He deserves a score that is off the charts. He has made it to many top music charts after his performance. He just doesn't sing, he tells a story. This song is the perfect example. Every word he sings, a million pictures appear. This song was written for Jung Seung Hwan to sing. 5 seconds in, the judges are amazed. They are tough to please. Jung Seung Hwan blew them away instantly. Jung Seung Hwan, your voice will comfort many people's lives. Can't wait for your debut. You are the one piece k-pop NEEDS.
Could you imagine how it would affect us if we understood the words? Somewhere on here I saw one of the songs he sang subbed and the song hit me more because I actually knew...he was able to convey the emotion very well.
Kimberly M the lyrics are basically saying how even though he has such a perfect life he feels lonely and wants to fall in love. And just these words along with this melody really does make the listener feel sad and this kid really brought out the tears

Woooooow judges loves his facial expressions and gestures THAT LITERALLY JUST MOVED ALONG WITH HIS VOICE. His voice is very daebak...goes from high to slow in one breath. ;) he makes me cry. He closes his eyes and feels his words.
He's already sold more digital singles than all the other contestants combined. Even if another contestant "wins" because the judges preferred their performance, JSH is already a proven kpop star. Antennae Music would be the obvious agency for him musically, but I think YG will try to make the case why they would be ideal. AKMU and $$$ are pretty persuasive arguments.

wow. this guy is amazing. the first time i heard him sing, the one word that popped into my head to describe his voice was 'honest'. how he sings is very honest, he doesn't have to hide behind gymnasticy voical runs and forced emotions, he picks a song he can understand and relate to and relays it out exactly how he sees it from his point of view... although that explanation might sound a tad crazy, it's kind of a funny coincidence that he happened to say something similar in his interview during this episode xD

Contestants don't get a cut. Only the original singers/producers/companies and SBS.I mean, it's just glorified cover songs.
But how about those songs that were composed by the contestants themselves? Like AKMU's 'Don't Cross Your Legs' and 'You're Charming'?
