Dean Evason shortcomings Refusal to play rookies Playing fleur in the second game When Gus just stole a game His lack of adjustments in game His line combinations are ridiculous Not playing the kids during the season Left them with no replacements when injuries occurred His attitude of my way or the highway Is Dean Evason at his best Please hire Andrew Burnett just look at what he's in New Jersey As long as Evason is coach the Wild are going nowhere
What are you building for if not to win the Cup? a good team that chokes? then wtf is the point of playing in the NHL? I appreciate Guerin but jfc this was some weird deflection.
I feel like this team would benefit from a rebrand. Their logo and jerseys have always been one of the worst, if not the worst in the league. Change the colors back to green and yellow like most fans want. Look at the stars, did a pretty good job with their rebrand.
@@acidrain6600 I’ve always thought that uniforms affect performance. Perhaps if you look good, you play with more confidence. There’s been studies done on the psychology of colors in sports too, how different colors make people more or less aggressive and things like that. I’ve seen teams change their look and go on to have more success, some examples being the 2007 ducks, the 2015 raptors. I could be wrong but having a jersey that all the fans hate can’t help anything.
U know what the Minnesota Wild should do??? They should change their name..it should b The Minnesota North Star. And change their uniform colors to Blue n Silver. Dallas r Stars..with S. We'd be North Star. Copy???
Seriously! Maybe not a failure because as the GM you would have to take an abundance of credit for the failure! You apparently quickly forget the great fans you allude to who have endured the team's playoff futility! One of the guys you banished and will cost you close to $8M cap hit punked your star and outplayed all of the Wild's D! Super stars do shine in the playoffs but ours were dulled for whatever reason and the bottom 6 were absolutely putrid-all year for the most part. Apparently, Evason is convinced the Wild were the better team 5 on 5 but the scoreboard says differently!! Can't win if you can't SCORE! The team scored one goal in the last 6 periods. Give me a break on that garbage! Unfortunately, this team is not skilled enough to make a deep run in the playoffs so save this post mortem recrap and push replay next year.
We do need to be patient, there is no written formulas for $14 mill handcuffs. Johansson is a huge improvement. Set high expectations on Hartman, Zuccarello, Merrill and sorry to say once again but Bye bye Sam Steel, Bye bye Matt Dumba, for Goal-A-Cough-sky stays, put him with Faber, they had some chemistry but you need to cut non-performing players...IT'S ABOUT WINNING!
@@bobholst874 Guerin caused the cap fiasco and yes, by all accounts, Parise and Sutter were poison but why not split them up, send Parise on his way and see if Sutter adjusts his behavior with his sidekick gone. That would have seemed to be the logical approach. Instead, we're handcuffed for years to come and Guerin moans about the consequences of his own decision. Take responsibility and maybe admit that there was an alternative to your decision and stop making excuses.
@@Blacklabs2000 I was out of circulation for years by a sidelined career. The changes in my life took me working 18 hour days, 2 jobs just to secure the remainder of my retirement. So I must say I missed 5 years of anything to do with MN Wild hockey. I am not willing to dissect that monster. I believe you can still field a competitive team even with hamstrings. I cannot say I think buying season tickets and showing tacit approval by handing over $10k/seat is something I would do. But I am more patient than a lot of people who kept spending money on merch and saw relatively no change results wise... Spending a whole lot in that case, you are more pissed off at yourselves than Billy Guerin! So we move forward see what they do first, climb aboard the rabid fan bandwagon when they deserve it. I for one did not invest a bunch of high hopes on post season. I have seen too many teams that suck in the faceoff circle go out first. I watched and sorry, not one center outside of EK was a winner! Then when that shot hit him in prime fibula destruct zone...the limits came crashing in! I get more annoyed when they go out and get Oskar Sundqvist, 6'3" 220 pounder that has center experience and 2 Stanley Cup Trophy Rings and they play the little errand boy 5'11" 175 Sam Steel! What the hell is that? I would advise Billy to sel Leopold on getting Dean out of here (doesn't have anything to do with the cap so - He's out that money but bring in someone who can throw a changeup and a curveball (figuratively speaking). I see this as a two year struggle with a very sturdy team for 5-6 seasons with little attrition or changes. I am ok with that for now. They're not playing with my .only anyways...
Billy G...........G stands for Gaslighting
Dean Evason shortcomings
Refusal to play rookies
Playing fleur in the second game
When Gus just stole a game
His lack of adjustments in game
His line combinations are ridiculous
Not playing the kids during the season
Left them with no replacements when injuries occurred
His attitude of my way or the highway
Is Dean Evason at his best
Please hire Andrew Burnett just look at what he's in New Jersey
As long as Evason is coach the Wild are going nowhere
You could say the same with BG
Maybe Billy can build a team like Eric Staal and the Panthers. Just need a better coach.👍

I love me some billy!

Just curious what benefit are you referring to and if and how that would help in the playoffs?
