Thank God I found your video...I replaced my bonnet and poppet due to a missing O-ring and couldn't figure out why it wasn't sealing. Did this and it worked like a charm!
Finally fixed it! It ended up being a pressure issue. I was opening the valve too slowly so the bonnet and poppet weren’t creating a seal. I started over, then opened the valve fast and voilà! The seal was created and no more water volcano

Thank you for this video. Helped me fix my sprinkler system for $50 instead of $750.
Great video. Just did this replacement in about 10 minutes. Thank you.
This was helpful. Thanks for posting.
Glad it was helpful!
Having this exact problem. I replaced the check valve, spring, retainer, bonnet, poppet, but I’m having the same problem. Any other considerations?

@@jessel2912 your comment saved me. THANK YOU.
I keep repeating the steps but it keeps pouring out
My rebuild kit came with 2 round O rings, one thicker than the other. How do I determine which to use?
Did you figure it out? What did you end up doing?
@craigorlikowski2507 I can't remember. I think I tried both and one caused a leak and the other didn't.
Good Video, thank you.
Glad it helped
