Well done sir, It’s so lovely to see your enthusiasm for the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts club so early into thie new year 2024. And with the addition of a very nice 1960’s Ford Mustang. The Americans made some fine cars, Before I entered into the Rolls Royce and Bentley club, I had some wonderful American cars, Including Chevrolet caprice classic, Lincoln Continental Mark 6, Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D’elegance. All fine cars. But I felt it time to return to English cars, a sense of being patriotic to my country. and with No Regrets, over the past fhew years, I have owned a 1980 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow series 2 wash wipe, Finished in Honey Golld, A 1989 Rolls-Royce silver spirit, finished in Royal blue. And at this moment in time, A 1995 Rolls-Royce silver Spur lll LWB four-door saloon, finished in diamond blue silver. I love these English classics as I am sure you do, Have to say, love the silver Spirit and Silver Spur Motor Cars 🇬🇧👍❤️🏴.
Oh lovely! You've tickled two of my fancies there mate! Aviation enthusiast as well as RR ! Concorde is exquisite...how very appropriate! I've been on a BA Concorde when I lived in Blighty 👍 Hey that 66 Stang was VERY pretty with the 289 burble to match...same colour as mine 👌

I try to show the whole day at any event I attend, more for my records if I wish to attend the following year, I can look back and see times needed to set off etc.

but I can't believe you are that cold inside a Roller. Your heater matrix must be up the spout.
Heater works fine, I stood out side at the petrol station chatting for 30 odd minutes in nothing more than a thin jumper.
I believe the colour of the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow is bordeaux red. It's the same colour as our Silver Spirit II.

One of the most thankless tasks I was ever given was to be on the gate at Brooklands on our owners' day meet. Somebody decided it would be a good idea if we offered everybody the chance to try the 'test hill' just after you enter (one in 16, followed by one in 8, followed by one in 4). It took so long to line people up, that the traffic backed up right back to the A3. Those of us on the gate had no idea what was causing the delay and we were getting it in the ear from all of the people queueing.
Never again! Always be polite to people on the gate...

@@silverspiritlll6676 That was on a Triumph Stag Owners' Club day. It was quite a lot of fun.
I later went back to Brooklands on a bicycle for some sort of bicycle meet, and the same thing happened - they sent us up the hill. I managed to get up the 1-in-4 on the bike, but I was a LOT younger!
