Good to catch you for a chat ( again !). I think that Yellow Diablo was at Castle Hedingham as well. The way the organisers split the cars up in the decades when they were made makes this show different to the rest. It's like an "evolution of the car" over the decades which appeals to a saddo like me !. Shame about the wind but at least the sun came out. I think there were more Rolls than Mercedes at this show. Which must make my car more exclusive than yours !😂
I reckon overtaking that MGB GT cost you about £25 in fuel 😂 You mentioned that you have your car cleaning kit in your boot to clean the car when you reach the venue - do you use some form of waterless wash to do this?
@@TR4man i don’t put my foot down often, but when ever I do I think that’s another £20 ! The car is ceramic coated so very little will stick to it, when on at a show I use Meguiars ultimate quik detailer, found this to be the best. Thanks for watching 👍
I’m always interested (nosey) about how much YOU have to pay to include your vehicle. Especially as these shows wouldn’t exist if you lot didn’t turn up.
10 quid to enter my mk1 Capri (at 28 minutes) Well worth it as my mate and i got a whole day in looking at cars and talking to other petrolheads. But interestingly talk is number of cars was down since the fee. So who knows eh?
@@MarkB-33 I’m guessing there’s two sides to that. One is the £10 makes it more of a commitment for those showing their cars to actually turn up. And as you say, £10 for a days ‘entertainment’ is well worth it.
That old Merc 220SEB was my star of this video. Lovely thing.
Thank you for such an informative and most interesting video
@@johndickinson8459 your welcome John, part 2 on Friday 6pm uk time, thank you for watching 👍
