Yes, depends on the child height. Child may fit up to 120cm height for short trip, since he cannot stretch his legs. We use it to go school on rainy days. Distnace is about 500meters.

Please use the safety strap both on the bike and the chariot if you love your children. I had that rubber falling off and the pin fell out on a bumpy ride, thank god I had the strap attached to my bike.
