The Sound of Unthinkable presents
West Virginia folklore
Mothman
In West Virginia folklore, the Mothman is a humanoid creature reportedly seen in the Point Pleasant area from November 15, 1966, to December 15, 1967. The first newspaper report was published in the Point Pleasant Register, dated November 16, 1966, titled "Couples See Man-Sized Bird ... Creature ... Something". The national press soon picked up the reports and helped spread the story across the United States.

as a mothman i can confirm this is how we sound
YES!
deam!....what wel be the next catastrophy?
As a local West Virginian who is VERY FAMILIAR with the stories of the Mothman, I say if Mothman had a legitimate sound-- THIS would be it!👍🏻💞🔥👍🏻🔥💞👍🏻
thank you for making my day!
Mothman is my favorite among all American cryptids and this is absolutely chilling. Well done.
Thank you very much for your kind words about my work. I am very glad you like it.
I truly love the way this Mothman's howl carries through the background. The way it's throat stretches and when it's voice cracks is all chef's kiss detailing and I love it all 😱❤️🔥
Thank you, I'm so glad you like it and thank you for your continued support. I also like this audio, I can feel the raw enthusiasm, that motivated me in the beginning..
Scary as hell!
i take that as a compliment :)
For some reason hearing it made me feel sad even though I was happy earlier. It reminds me of the stories where people who've encountered him get an overwhelming feeling that can make you sick or sad
It is certain that the Mothman has a much stranger story than most similar creatures. There is something mystical and sad about it. Maybe that's why I like the lore of this being so much.
The Mothman is a howl
thats terrifying
Glad you like it!
Sounds like something out of an old Japanese monster movie.
Mothman the leader of the cryptid squad
I agree!.
@@TheSoundOfUnthinkable I heard that he can shrink to moth size that's his favorite superpower
It’s scary I got the chills😬😬😬😬😬😬 it freak the crap out of me
I am more than happy to hear that!
Awesome! And also the sound of unthinkable. I will request you to do the sound of mali video because mali is a troublesome hippopotamus cryptid monster that can consume vast amounts of rice that was defeated by a hero called fara maka and i found it on cryptid wiki.
roger that.
Terrifying!
Some of my family members have seen it and I’ve heard the noise before
What was the noise you heard?
Bro I’m scared now
I take that as a compliment :)

Sorry, I hope you understand.
How did you create this?
layered and mixed audio files.
I will support your channel if you tell me the truth about your recordings.
If these are real, please tell me how you got the audio?
I just pray this is not just all AI and are actual recordings of cryptid beings.
I suspect they aren’t real.
And I would be a fool to think they are real.
These are not real recordings and not generated with AI. I mix and layer sound tracks to create the atmospheres. For the voices of the creatures I usually use human sound effects/recordings, which I rework and mix with other animal, generated, etc... sounds.
How do you know this was the sound of a mothnan? Did you actually see it making the noise?
I don't know, that's how I imagine it's voice.
@@TheSoundOfUnthinkable ok thanks for clarifying......I agree it would sound like this, very scart
Glad you liked it!
