Vaikom Narayani Janaki (23 September 1924 - 19 May 1996), also known as Janaki Ramachandran was an Indian politician, Actress and Activist who served as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu for 23 days and president of AIADMK after the death of her husband M. G. Ramachandran popularly known as MGR, former chief minister of Tamil Nadu and President of AIADMK. Janaki was the first woman to become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Also she was the first actress to become the chief minister of the state in the history of India. dear sir.janaki amma's brothers m/s narayanan &co.was established film producers.film distributors and usually they get films from andhra and release it also took part in productions it was they got land for mgr who acted with janaki amma so for her brothers bought residence separetely at door 49.lloyds lane which ends in corner and mgr used to visit her daily with nam nadu newspaper at hand in the mornings from mgr pictures pvt.ltd that at visible distance in the main lloyds road and sharma from varanasi a business man and owner of many lorries lived opposite to her house.janaki amma has acted earlier with mgr in so many films that ran successfully at that times and janaki amma is a very nice andsoft spoken and took very much care of mgr till his death the history tells exactly.
