Noisemaker Effects Shrieker Fuzz/Oscillator/Drone Generator Effect Pedal

For anyone in much of the USA right now, the drone of cicadas is pretty constant. We took some inspiration from that drone, and combined it with our favorite thing - fuzz. We started with a wall of sound, heavy fuzz, and expanded on it with an additional gain for some wild octaving effects, and then added in a drone oscillation control. We made that drone tunable in pitch, but didn’t stop there and added a wide band frequency control to the end of the circuit to let you shape not just tons and tons of fuzz tones, but also to tune drone settings in real time to create everything from higher pitched oscillations, all the way to deep, low, and heavy drones. Add a little drone for some background tone generation while you play, or add a bunch and let it overtake your guitar and turn the Shrieker into an instrument of its own. Or turn it up and keep playing to pulse the droning tones with each pick of a note or strum of a chord to generate additional octaves and tones in the droning oscillation.
This is an incredibly versatile fuzz pedal and noise instrument that can do everything from tame rock tones to over the top noise generation with tons of control. Gain and Frequency work together to allow octave effects up and down, and oscillation/droning can be dialed in with guitar, over guitar, or dialed out completely for pure fuzz tones.

We aimed for versatility - from the fuzz tones being nice and wide ranging, all the way up to the drone/noise settings it can do. It’s definitely a fun fuzz to play with!
