Vitalism - Pagan 2 the official video would have been neat. You get to see the entire band. Also their video for " Clairvoyance " is highly recommended.
Vitalism is only one person now which is a shame. You can tell the mixing in this album is absolutely terrible and it's just not the same anymore. Which is sad because I absolutely loved them.
@@doomburger8433 all the other 4 members are in odeon sounds now. Apparently Ed kicked everyone out because he didn't pay them royalties and they got pissed. No shit lol
Yess! Love both of those! (I was kinda scared to put NEW BLACK cause it's like their obvious hit thanks to the Guitar Hero games but glad you put it out here 😉)
I love watching your reaction videos because of your knowledge and appreciation for music. I’m a guitarist and have been playing for over 20 years, I like how you give insight on some many aspects of the composition. I watch your videos and Elizabeth’s from The Clairvoyant Voice because I like listening to you both talk. It’s almost like you’re an old friend that just doing a video chat. UA-cam needs to get your channel monetized you deserve it.
Dude I’ve been asking for Vitalism for months now it feels like!!!!! Shoot you’ve only been around for months but it feels much longer. Heck ya! Keep up the good works! Aloha!!!!!! Now time for pagan Pt.2!!! Lol EDIT: they do have a bass player. He’s sick of course. Maybe because this is a guitar play through but maybe they didn’t have one on their earlier Stuff. A Hoosier listening to an Hawaiian dissect a Brazilian djent band! I love music and how it brings the world together in a way we never thought it would. Thank you for this!!!!
Yea, I thought about the bass in the mix and came up with the notion that you did. Perhaps because it was a playthrough mix the guitars got a bit more beef in the mix. GOOD EARS DUDE! :)
@@KeyOfGeebz I also just read that they lost their bass player for a while then got him back but this is their first album so I think they had him on this one so maybe it was the mix. Again thank you sir. Aloha!!! .... I just learned they dropped pagan 3 a few minutes ago. Wild
Geebz! Good evening, sir! I was in the mood for this, i guess because i really dig it. I want some of what the drummer is taking to rip those fillers. Jeez! This is insane. Hittin me with the 🪲fart again... lol
The guitarrist (Mosca), the drummer (Marvin) and the bassist (Marcelo) have other band called Odeon, is a INSANE awesome band, you should check out Morphine and Swipe Up are my favorite tracks
Kamelot - Memento Mori Dream Theater - Space Dye Vest fyi one of them is using John Petrucci's signature guitar, you can see the Dream Theater 'Majesty' symbol at the top of the fretboard.
in they sequence - pagan pt.2 they do have bass player. they have they group split up in sequence, but still kicking ass. Thanks for support viltalism and Brazil.
I first came across this band a couple years ago and have been telling people about them ever since. Some interesting changes and modulations in all of their songs. Oh and I thought they are from Brazil.
I would really dig your thoughts on Jon Hopkins - Vessel. Classically trained electronic artist with a focus on texture. Love the juxtapositions and the spaces he creates. Makes the complicated sound simple. Check it out! Much love
Absolutely love this track and this EP! As far as the bass goes, in most metal the bass is used more to fill out the mix than to be an audible instrument. The low frequencies just being used to thicken up the guitar tracks and they are usually in unison except an octave down. I believe the did have a bassist for awhile, though.
Got to check out earthless or tide by humanity’s last breath. I’m dying to see a breakdown of it! The mix, composition, and everything about it will be incredibly interesting to hear your take. Cheers!
I know it's probably been suggested to death at this point, but I was just listening to it again and 'New Day' by Karnivool is an absolute must for you to do on your channel dude, if it doesn't elicit a chicken skin response I will buy you 10 coffees, 🤙🤙🤙
omg i adore u. i just found your channel from the knife prty video! i'm a diehard deftones fan. have you considered doing a reaction for a drum and bass song? i don't really listen to drum and bass, but there's these incredible guys called 'Noisia' and i think it could be really interesting. they're really, really skilled with their production. i would recommend 'Shellshock'. idk, bit of a reach but yeah! i'd be curious to see what you think :)
Welcome to the Brazilian metal dude hahahahah. Sadly they split recently, Ed Garcia, the lead guitarist and owner of Vitalism is trying to assemble new musicians but we don't know what is gonna happen...
Hey Geebz, in one of your last videos you mentioned a homepage, where you have some sort of a playlist with the next tracks you will be doing. I've been looking for this site, but unfortunately I'm not smart enough to find it, so I wanted to ask you kindly if you could tell me the adress of that site? :D
Oh my virgin ears. I have never heard this type of music in my life, and yet it reminds me of Mozart's Sonata for 2 Pianos in D major. Back in my college days this was our Adderall! 😂 ua-cam.com/video/3T_k45gMQUw/v-deo.html
If I could request a song, I’d love to hear your thoughts on Let It Happen by Tame Impala. I can’t describe it, but it essentially (in my head) goes backwards at one point but turns back into itself?
You really need to check out either Battlefield or And Then There Was Silence by Blind Guardian. Its one of the most epic and well orchestrated metal you will ever hear. Silence is around 14 mins long and is an epic about the Trojan War. Battlefield is a bit shorter, but no less grandiose.
I always thought the pronunciation was "VITAL-ISM", and I remember liking these guys with every rralesse... very talented!! Please decompose Means End "Magnanimous"!!
Check out Superhero Jugganath by Diablo Swing Orchestra! Or Upon Fallen Autumn Leaves by HAGGARD. If you liked Epica, you'll really like these guys. Both are amazing and offer a very unique mash of styles.
Grebe, I definitely understand that you are inundated with requests to check out this, that and the other band for x-ever genre. I GET IT! But you’re missing awesome stuff that I think you are uniquely able to do blind reviews of that have yet to be done on this channel, songs that have been requested. Not just by me but others as well. PLEASE CONSIDER: Gorguts -Obscura It’s a short song and I’d love to hear your take on it... unExpect - literally any track off of their album “ In a Flesh Aquarium” Billy Bragg & Wilco - Literally any track off of Mermaid Avenue Vols. 1-3 This is just off the top my head, I’ve got thousands of others (as does everyone else here lol). Please give it a consideration. Thanks for your work!!!
this was a cool listen, I like the spanish sections, although it's just falling short in composition for me to become a playlist song, if they can keep refining their composition skills they could be quite something.
I got a solid progressive instrumental track for you, "A Clock Without A Craftsman" by Lee McKinney, he is the guitarist of the metal band Born of Osiris and its a standout track from his solo instrumental album, its a killer track for sure 🤙
I recommend you the song "A Distant (Dark) Source (Part I, II and III)" from the band "Hypno5e" from Pelagic Records (Label founded by The Ocean). Their Cinematographic Metal is absolutely phenomenal !
Thanks a Lot for the support and share our work on your channel! Ed Garcia here, i cant explain how um happy now😂 thanks a Lot again my friend
Aloha Ed!!! You and the rest of the group are wonderfully talented and look forward to listening/reacting to more of your music! 🤙🤙🤙
You’re a legend Ed! Geebz will be a legend if he does more reactions to your music! 😜🤘
I love this song man! Perfect!
Love that Ed watches and replies to these videos.
Hi Ed! Thank your for your music!
The band just released Part 3 of this song today, good timing
Thank you very much for the information! Ill go check it out!
I literally said HOLD ON like 12 times real loud.
I am hyped.
And...it's honestly not as good lol. It's Michael Keene all over again lmao. He needs the band, Ed can't hold it all down himself.
3rd part is not that good... Sadly...
Don't listen, band or no part III is utter delicious annihilation.

Yeah! I am really hoping fpr the part two. I personally prefer it over this one.
Clairvoyance is sick
Pagan part 2 is a masterpiece
I like pt 1 more because of the acoustic sections, they have a lot of feeling
O PAI TÁ ON BRAZUCA
Wow was not expecting Vitalism, very awesome choice.
My guy needs to check out The Human Abstract.
This song was ahead of its time. When this song came out, I remember the first time I head it, I was blown away.
Archspire would be really interesting to see
VITALISM JUST DROPPED PAGAN PART THREE WITHIN THE HOUR THAT THIS VIDEO WAS UPLOADED WTF
