No sour grapes, no calling for rule changes, no blaming the ref… Thank you for your emotional yet respectful response to the game! You, sir, seem to represent what is great about rugby!
Tim, you are the most kind, fair and respectful commentator at the WC. You embody the values that make rugby the best game in the world. It is a joy to listen to your podcasts.
Yes massive respect to you as commentator. Your team played to its strengths with the right tactics for the conditions. What we as South Africans appreciate about you is that you don't play games in your commentary and disrespect other rugby players.
Speaking as a Scotsman, I really have to congratulate the England lads on their performance tonight. They were superb to a man displaying the good old bulldog spirit and I can only say, that I'm gutted for every Englishman at the full time result. The heartache is written right across your face, Tim, and I really don't know what to say to ease your pain, buddy. Your team played like true warriors and won the respect of the rugby world. Can I congratulate you on reaching the 50k subscribers milestone, Tim. You have really made a huge contribution to making the last six weeks a really enjoyable six weeks for everyone with your honesty and balanced insight into the game and sharing your passion and love of the game on this personal journey with us. Keep doing what you do, mate. Your hard work has been very much appreciated.
Hear hear. He really HAS made this World Cup for me. I’m English but aware that much of our media rubs folk up the wrong way. This fella is unashamedly an England fan but gives real credit to opponents. In short, he’s the sort of bloke - any nationality - that you’d like to go a match with, have a pint afterwards and even someone as verbose as me would probably enjoy being quieter than normal; ask the odd question and do a bit o’ listening. Best wishes
Not just Kolisi, but Kitsoff as well - he's cost us several penalties in both games. That said, the real blame for the performance lies with Rassie and co. - they clearly should have rotated as SA had a day less to recover and a much harder match to recover from. It was beyond optimistic to expect them to maintain performance levels. @@chadthecat7248
I am a South African! Well played England! "Please don’t ever stop with this channel. Your passion and energy is a beautiful thing for our sport, and the wider community!" I agree 💯!
As an Irish fan, I want to thank England for making this a tremendous game, deserving of a world cup semi final unlike the farce that was yesterday's semi final. England have nothing to be ashamed of. Congratulations to South Africa, Good luck in the final.
Just how hard did England play?! They dominated our boys for 65min. I can't be more impressed with the massive heart they played with and I hope the English fans show them the respect they deserve. The indominable spirit of the Boks is just astounding. Overjoyed by their win. Love your channel Tim.
dominated, or spend 65 minutes, slowing the game down with more water boys on the field than players......or front rowers wanting conversations on how to set a scrum?
ask yourselves WHY England dominated the 1st half and the 1st half breakdown, and WHY Ireland edged the 1st half breakdown, and WHY France got so much change out of the breakdown in the 1st half vs SA? What changes in personnel happens around the 50 minute mark, which means that SA suddenly start competing at the breakdown?
Proud England fan we pushed the world champions boks all the way. Can’t ask for much more than that, good luck to them in the final 👏 disappointing, but let’s finish on a high next week with another win over Argentina.
Tim, to remind you I'm a Saffa, in honesty, from my heart, that was something really hard to deal with. Your team was incredible. From the build up into the RWC England were given no hope. The players did you proud. I can't say any more. Credit to your team.
I'm a saffa and I just have to say..... FULL credit to England, they played an incredible game of rugby and I really feel for the lot of you. You can be incredibly proud of your boys tonight. Result went to the other team but in all honesty prob should have gone your way. Just all the plaudits to your team, excellent performance.
I felt the same for Ireland and France last week. Whilst I'm an England fan, I'm a rugby fan first and what I want most is close competitive games between the top teams that leave you on the edge of your seat. Tonights game wasn't the prettiest, especially after we were spoilt with such incredible games last weekend, but it was just as tense and absorbing. Overall it's been a superb WC and whilst it would have been good to have some different teams contesting the final it's been very competitive at the top, which is great for the game. Hoping for an equally close encounter next week.
I’m South African and England should be extremely proud of their team tonight. You guys played a fantastic game. Our boys managed to pull it through in the very end but it was unbelievably close.
@@MC-cg2rrWas it a predictable game? No Was there suspense and some big surprises? Yes. Perhaps not a technically wonder game for rugby, but a bloody good game otherwise. It really kept everyone on the edge of their seats. And of course England played the best game they’ve done in a long time. Too bad you didn’t enjoy it.
I am a South African and I want to congratulate the England team. They played a magnificent game and was unlucky not to win. You can hold your head high and be so proud of the way you played. I am definitely supporting your team on Friday.❤
Speaking as a SA, it is just so impressive how England always show up, even when you know it's coming it is had to hang in there. Their pack of forwards are just commendable in all respects, massive performance, they should be extremely proud! Took us 80 minutes to pick a lock to that British Vault! The semi-final the world needed! It could have been so easy for us to go away and we never faded to the challenge, these two teams, special!
Wow, as a South African I am proud we won, but England deserved to win. I can’t believe I am saying this but I feel sorry for England. That team really stood up and would have made every Englishman proud. Stewart was a monster. I am glad we won but holy crap good game England.
@@frontierlandfrank5314right! The stats are hardly overwhelmingly in England's favour. For the vast majority of the game SA were never more than a converted try behind.
From an Ireland fan my heart goes out to you Tim and English fans. Quite a few Irish pundits warned it would be closer than people thought and boy they were right. England stood up big time and yez should be proud. But well done to SA too...winning against the odds. Delighted for Owen Farrell too....deserves English fans respect not abuse.
Mate I'm a New Zealand Maori, and avid kiwi supporter to the bone. Can I day, I loved following your commenting, I feel your passion, you credit both sides fairly & honestly, and its from the heart. So thank you... Look forward to next weekends final. Sadly not the clash we both wanted, but it will be a battle of the Titans. Thank you again , love your work.. 👊
All the respect to England. In all honesty, they completely outplayed us. Your boys should be very proud of this performance. SA looked fatigued and struggled under the wet conditions. We got really lucky tonight. Thanks for the great channel Tim! Your passion for the game is awesome!
Tim, I’m a lifelong Springboks fan from Rhodesia now an American citizen living in the USA. I have no love lost for England but have nothing but total respect for what they brought to the field today. Sincere heartfelt commiserations. Your passion, fair minded perspective, and lack of partisan rancor, make you the best commentator in all the media. Bloody superb !!
South Africans are extremely proud tonight but HATS OFF to England. So much guts, so much commitment and incredible passion. A heart-breaking loss and they showed so much class to line up for the Springboks. Wishing the Roses a fantastic match next week - you guys deserve the bronze!
How do England deserve the bronze. Third place game hasn't been played yet. Argentina will deserve the bronze allso for getting to third place played offs.
@@michaelpower4372 I think that you’ve replied to someone who is being what we call ‘noble in victory’ or even ‘kind’. In Gaeilge, that translates as ‘uasal i bua’ or ‘dial’ It’s one of the features of rugby fans from pretty much all nations. I’ve read a number of your comments across several rugby sites since the start of the World Cup. You seem to be grudging in your praise of both opponents in victory and your own team in defeat. Might I suggest that you follow soccer instead? You might feel more at home amongst fellow ill-favoured folk. Toodlepip/Slainté
As a South African, that was an epic performance from England, nothing but respect. Im sure the boys will be up for NZ. Both sides always give it their all when we play each other.
From a SA supporter- well played England - you had us beat for 80% of the game. For a team to come from where they were at the start of the RWC to here is a monumental achievement on its own. All credit to Bothwick and Englands squad. Owen Farrel was solid and his post match interview was a class act. I think I’ve aged in the last two weekends 😂🇿🇦
@@autumn551I do t think we did underestimate them at all, maybe the media did but the players played in pouring rain and the game was hard and scrappy and exactly what it was going to be in these types of conditions. The poms brought their game and had a great game, South Africa just managed to do what was needed to win. Credit to both teams for a hard fought win/loss.
Rugby is 80 minutes, if Freddy had have kicked for grass long, instead of trying to regathet it might have Bern different. He gave bokke field position with 5 to go. Deadly mistake
I haven't seen a channel grow this quickly Tim, you are doing something right! I will tell you why...YOU ARE GENUINE! You aren't inherently biased, you recognise everybody! That is what we like. I now jump to UA-cam at the end of each match to watch your hot takes! Top man
Feel your pain Tim, from an Irishman. I’m still not over Ireland going out the way they did, but getting massively drunk on the night helped, go out and have some fun. England were great as were Ireland, heartbreaking as it is, get those beers in and party
As a South African, I have to say that I did not expect England to give us such a hard match. I have to be honest. I switched off my TV a few times. I thought we were going to lose, and I didn't want to experience that emotionally. But I kept going back to see how it would end. England played a brilliant game. My nerves are wrecked. We need to do much better or else the ABs are going to steamroller us. These close games are too much of a coin flip. It worked out again tonight, but our luck might run out...
would not AB will steam roll us, we have a good record vs AB, and beat them far 2 months ago, this was our worst game in aegis, if we play our A game we will win AB
@@rickvermeulen3678 your A game huh? Well we ain’t England and this ain’t 2 months ago. Let’s se who the best rugby nation really is… 🇳🇿🖤 vs 🇿🇦💚 🏆🏆🏆 #firsttofour
I always say I support any team that plays against England but tonight they really surprised me...especially how they reacted after the game. They took it on the chin. Respect from a Bok fan.
From a Saffa, England played with such heart and energy, and they picked the perfect tactics to disrupt SA in the rain. Hard luck to the English supporters, if your team continues to believe they will only improve. However they are going to have to develop a passing game too. Relieved the Boks won but it was by the smallest of margins in total chaos. This game should be the perfect wake-up call for the Boks before the final
You are the most realistic and objective human being I have ever known!!! Allow me to say that as a South African I am honored to be a part of your channel I will follow you till I die!!! It takes a real man to be able to do what you are doing as an English man moments after a terrible loss such as this one😢
What old mate Habit is referring to is the closeness of the game and in all honesty many Boks fans thought this was gonna be a train smash ! What a cliffhanger ………….thanks Pollard for the rescue mission !😮
I am so very proud of England tonight, our performance was outstanding ❤️ I am extremely excited for the future of England Rugby and our team as a whole. I know we lost this game but we were heroic and tactically brilliant. Congratulations to South Africa, the WC Final will be an absolute cracker. ❤️🏴🌹🏉🌹🏴
Tonight SA didn't have a "bad game", England didn't allow them to have a good one. Sorry to say but if it weren't for your captain who forced us to go for poles and ten meters extra *20min) , half time would've been 12-0 and Pollard only a second half preplacement. For me, that was a big moment and SA's first points. They never looked like scoring any points and their game plan didn't work, until the fist three points nut when the score is 6-3 instead of 6-0, its a no brainer, take the points. Only my opinion. But wow England, its only a matter of months before this team is world number 1. Certainly not the same team we played four years ago. Congratulations on the best performance of the world cup. You would have trashed the All Blacks
Are you being serious? France? If you can't even win a quarter final in front of your home crowd, you are without a doubt not the no.1 team in the word. Sorry bud, not even close.@@garyodriscoll7988
As a kiwi my heart hurts for England. What an amazing performance from the underdogs. England and the rest of the world are so proud of you. Congratulations to SA ❤️
Lovely comment. Thanks. We’ve been down in the dumps for a couple of years. Bit sad today. It’s the ‘hope’ that gets ya’ as they say. Good luck in the final.
Brilliant match. I'm an Irish fan but was shouting for England. So many excellent performances tonight. Am so sad that a NH team didn't teach the final but France, Ireland and England have shown how we can compete with the SH teams.
Your team was fantastic. The best ambassadors for NH rugby. I have mixed feelings today. I’d given up on England before the tournament and had sort of switched my support to Ireland… just for the sake of loyalty to the old 5-nations (and distant Celtic genes). But I have to say that I was extremely proud of my team last night. Very sad this morning. As they say, “It’s the hope that gets ya’” Overall though, as a fan of rugby - the greatest, most noble of all sports, I’m proud that our sport has showcased itself so magnificently. Best wishes.

England won a trip the bronze medal match? One team won, the other lost. IMO the boks shouldn’t have won that. They didn’t respect England, but the bench had the appetite
Mate, heart attack material game. Hard luck England fans from NZ, your team fought hard, and you can be proud. Congrats Boks, another emotionally taxing game. Hats off both teams 👋
Some respect restored to the England shirt 🌹 Shame we couldn't quite hold on at the end but what a colossal effort from the boys! Well done Boks and hope you go win it now 🇿🇦
As a South African, going into this game I arrogantly thought it was going to be a cakewalk. However, England played better than us for 65 minutes and we are truly the luckiest team in the world to have managed to pull that off. Entering the game after seeing how they acted in defeat in the 2019 finals, I strongly disliked the English team, but they played so incredibly well it almost had me supporting them 😂 Massive respect to England for that stellar performance tonight and they have regained my respect for handling their loss like true professionals.
Well done SA, you could say lucky or we just weren't good enough to put the game out of reach when we were on top. I thought it was a great game to watch even though it wasn't full of free flowing rugby. Good luck next week.
Ireland is my mums team and I’ll always support them as my second team was gutted against New Zealand last week. From a die hard England fan… knife edge stuff but should take nothing away from how well Ireland have been playing over the last few years. Proud of my team tonight if we had scrummagers to replace Marler and Cole we win it’s that simple but what more can we ask?
Also cheering on England over here in Ireland. Very disappointing at the final whistle, but England should be very proud of that performance. Love this channel btw!
Big thanks to the two teams for giving masterful performances. England backs were superb. Gut wrenching for England and relief for South Africa. Thanks Tim for talking through your pain. That’s not easy, but professional 💪
England won every match at this WC and then lost a semi by 1 point after winning for 77 minutes. Could not be more proud of the whole squad.South Africa did incredibly well making early changes, that was so brave. Well done to both teams.
That would be nice but after today’s performance??? I’m so scared but also today showed that you can never write a team off. People are going to write off the Boks off based on today’s game but you never know what’ll happen on the day
Hold your head up, Tim! England put South Africa under immense pressure. They silenced many critics! Well done to you for you amazing coverage of this World Cup and to England! (From a South African)
As a South African Bok supporter I say all respect to the English lads. It was literally nail biting stuff. Your team gave it all...and then some. No disgrace at all.
England (and Leicester Tigers) fan here..What a game, absolutely gutted, not sure we deserved to lose that, absolute redemption for 2019 at scrum time, Dan Cole, incredible journey to show it wasn’t him who lost it in 2019. Faz, incredible, Manu, Freddie S, Marler, even Daly was incredible, Jonny May. Borthwick hold your head high, you did us proud 😍😍😍
As a Springbok i must say you guys really gave us a super match. I can honestly say that i feel for you Tim, Owen and the boys. Hold your head high, you can really be very very proud. Ps. i only discoverd your channel last weekend. I love what you do. Keep up the great work and thank you.
I am absolutely gutted! Fair play to South Africa for getting the win. Unbelievable proud Englishman tonight. We had a winning performance but not in the last 20 minutes and it’s an 80 minute game.
You are by far the best rugby commentator. Well spoken and full of emotion when needed. Just love it. I'm an SA supporter, but the English squad was awesome. Played their hearts out. Nothing but respect about their performance. Keep up the good work on your channel. Thanks!
He’s not bad, is he? Sad today but quite proud of ‘em. What makes me most proud though is OUR sport. Both teams played their hearts out and the battle was fierce… And then the switch is pressed and both teams showed mutual respect. That’s the same all over OUR rugby world at every level. And it’s a beautiful thing. Well played to your lads and good luck in the final.
As a Springbok supporter, I need to start of by saying, England did a number on us today. It’s actually the first time this entire tournament that I saw some of our players genuinely rattled… Our bench was the difference and the scrum dominance in the 2nd half got us out of jail. Tonight was a real smash and grab by the Boks. We were lucky to win because there was a point where we sort of looked dead and buried but England just couldn’t throw that last shovel of sand over the casket to bury us for good. I think if England were more brave in their attack play it might have been enough to force a penalty which would have probably been enough for them to get over the line. But their reluctance to play and kick the ball to us is what kept us in the game. Champions usually always find a way and boy did we have to dig deep. We will have to freshen up the squad for the final. Because mentally and physically this 23 man squad have been taken into the trenches and it’s only through sheer guts and determination that we’re still standing
English fan here and I agree 100% with your assessment. England just didn’t have the confidence or attacking threat to put SA away when you looked rattled. Then the Boks took control of the scrums and the rest is history. Anyway, congratulations to the Boks and I hope you go onto win the final
Hard luck Tim. England played an epic game and were so so close to creating the upset of the tournament. As an Irish man ,there was the weird sensation of my son and I shouting for England. It's tough but England had them rattled for 70 plus minutes of an epic physical game. Thanks for your honest input so far. It's made the World Cup very enjoyable for every supporter across the world 👏👏👏
Horrifically partisan Saffer here, your channel is such a massive breath of fresh air. I honestly cannot believe that an opposite partisan could be so humble and see the wood for the trees. One of these days I hope to grow up and be so good at being a supporter of rugby. You're a legend, and you can be massively proud of your boys, I feel like SA has had two games in a row where it came down to luck and we got the roll of the dice. No bullshit and no idiocy, England played one of the best tactics to smash the Boks and we were lucky. Thanks for being the best egg chaser, and may you one day catch that egg! Edit: god lord but Aled Walters is an absolute pleasure/torture depending if he's on your team, right?
I don't think we could have done anymore. They done us proud. Congratulations to South Africa. What a fantastic tournament its been and hoping the final is just as good.
Hey Tim. Thanks for the great coverage during this World Cup. I’m a saffa and I had a feeling this English side were going to do us over tonight. I was panicking after 2mins. It was a horrible game to watch as a bok supporter and England did everything right to win this game. Their back row was huge and Faz - like him or not - was immense. Hugely proud that the Bokke managed to eek out a win. Ox deserves a medal 🎖️

A worthy contest between two brilliant teams. Congratulations Bokke, as a South African Im super-proud of the team for taking the competition all the way. To the English fans, you can be immensely proud of your team. Wow! What a game 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Sorry Tim. I know that was very hard to watch. In some ways, we didn’t deserve to win, but perhaps it shows the spirit of the Boks, to come back in the way that they did.
As a Southern African my sentiment goes out to you. That was one hell of a performance by England and they were unlucky not to win. Our bomb-squad pulled a "rabbit out of the hat"
Had they started the game I think South Africa would have run away with the match. The starting line up was tired from last week against France and were not at the races
Your guys front row(s) have to be the envy of the world. Having 4 or 5 players that are in the top 10 for those specialisations is a phenomenal advantage. Congrats on the win, that try was unstoppable. We have some stuff to work on, to be sure, but I am very happy with our performance this evening.
I’m Welsh and watched it with my English mate. I didn’t know how to console him. England were immense and I can hardly believe the result. I have really enjoyed every single segment you have done and somehow it matters to see you so gutted. Keep what you are doing going. Terrific insight and a very balanced commentary. Take care. I’m desperate for the Boks to beat the All Blacks
As a South African I can say we just got lucky. England wow! You out played us tonight and played extraordinary rugby. My heart goes out to the English. We will need to play better by not 30%, 40% but by 100%.
You make your own luck. We played well, we just weren't quite good enough to see it out. Your team was. I think the faces on some players showed they couldn't believe they had won it either. Good luck next week. 👍

Mate, I know you're a massive England fan, but very gracious and magnanimous about this match. What a game. It's been a great tournament, not perfect, and I'll be very happy not to have to hear complaints about the ref, and the idiot fans who think booing is part of Rugby. Thanks for your coverage, Tim.
England played absolutely beautifully this evening... no one expected this game to be like this.. Springboks are not at their best right now and I am nervous for next week.
Honestly you guys deserved the win tonight! You out played SA everywhere until that final scrum penalty. Well played! If SA bring this against us, I think we'll win
Id like to personally thank Owen Farrell for not releasing the balling and getting SAs penalty marched forward into a kickable position and SA got the points. If he didn't do that, maybe England win. Always will be a twat 😂
I am unbelievably proud of this team, I will admit that I was one of those doubters before the world cup started but I am so incredibly happy to be proven wrong. Incredible performance from England well done lads. Also big shout out to Tim your content is fantastic.
Great analysis as always Tim, love the channel. This game made me immensely proud to be English, hats off to the whole England team and shoutout to the veterans like Faz, Lawes, May etc who all put in massive shifts. Owen Farrell is definitely one of the greats of the game in my humble opinion. If this is the last game some of these guys play in an England shirt, I'd just like to thank them for their contribution to the English game and I've loved watching them over the last 10 or so years.....they'll definitely be missed!! Best of luck in the final South Africa, well done to your lads and go well!
Owen Farrell is a massive competitor, he silenced all his critics tonight. Congrats to you and your nation, pride restored in that white jumper and to be honest...its good to see England play this well.

In short, he’s the sort of bloke - any nationality - that you’d like to go a match with, have a pint afterwards and even someone as verbose as me would probably enjoy being quieter than normal; ask the odd question and do a bit o’ listening.
Best wishes
Nothing but massive, massive respect for England after this. Sorry you lost. Genuinely sorry. From a South African.
Pick Siya Kolisi again next week and you will lose.. SA had no fetcher for 50 minutes today
@@chadthecat7248

dominated, or spend 65 minutes, slowing the game down with more water boys on the field than players......or front rowers wanting conversations on how to set a scrum?
ask yourselves WHY England dominated the 1st half and the 1st half breakdown, and WHY Ireland edged the 1st half breakdown, and WHY France got so much change out of the breakdown in the 1st half vs SA? What changes in personnel happens around the 50 minute mark, which means that SA suddenly start competing at the breakdown?

Overall it's been a superb WC and whilst it would have been good to have some different teams contesting the final it's been very competitive at the top, which is great for the game. Hoping for an equally close encounter next week.

Wow, as a South African I am proud we won, but England deserved to win. I can’t believe I am saying this but I feel sorry for England. That team really stood up and would have made every Englishman proud. Stewart was a monster. I am glad we won but holy crap good game England.
Nah, they were very rowdy and rude and just chaotic for no reason, but good effort from them nonetheless

From a Saffa, England played with such heart and energy, and they picked the perfect tactics to disrupt SA in the rain. Hard luck to the English supporters, if your team continues to believe they will only improve. However they are going to have to develop a passing game too.

Well said -I’m with you on every one of those thoughts. Cole & Marler were EPIC.
So proud of all our lads ✊🏼
As a Saffa I am the most sad about Lawes retiring, always thought he has the most admirable demeaner which I appreciate as a rugby fanatic. Good on ya Courtney, class.
Tim I’m heartbroken mate, so proud of the lads and we’ve earned respect back from the rugby community.
England definitely have earned my respect again, what a game, England were better, springboks just managed to take it, I'm about to have another heart attack 😐
Agreed
Well done to you Tim, as a Boks fan, we knew this wasn't going to be easy. Well done England fans and team.. excellent work
South African fan here, started watching you since the beginning of the World Cup.
Stoked you made 50k subs! Well done! Sorry for your team today, absolute class, outplayed us in every part of the game and we robbed you. Proud of my boys but you should absolutely be so proud of your boys! Wow!
Ireland fan here, supporting England for the first time ever. England were immense and deserved to win this match. Small margins and all that. If any side can hold their heads high after a knock-out exit in this world cup, that's England. Well done, fair play to both sides, this was worthy of a world cup semi-final.
Feel for you and England tonight Tim. They were up for it tonight and I feel very relieved right now. Well done my boys in green. You stood up when it was all on the line. So proud 🎉
I was very fearful of England. They worked out our strengths and negated it for largest part of the game. Came down to a last-gasp penalty yet again. Commiserations and thanks for the continued great content .
Rain was the 16th man for England...different game if it was dry ....
I too was very fearful to watch the game.well done England....... A Bokke fan❤
Dude, big respect to England this team is going places.
Thanks for this channel some of the best commentary of the RWC, condolences on your loss.
For a Springbok supporter.
❤
Massive game. Full respect to the wild roses. Sympathy to you Tim.
Well done Bokkers
What an emotional game.
Feel so sorry for England, as an Irish fan I really wanted a Six Nations teams in the final, lucky lucky Bokkes, gutted for ya Tim, you have been vey kind to Ireland through your commentary and it made me want this win for you, sport can be cruel, but you should be very proud👊
From Cape Town - thanks for the coverage Tim and so bummed that you had to lose tonight. Glad we’re through but I feel like we still lost something out there. Hopefully we get it back before next week!
Appreciate
Tim you can be immensely proud of your country. They were amazing. Played perfectly
England can hold their heads high on this one, well played them! Glad to see the 'boks pulled it out of the fire though.
So proud of England, gave the world number 1 a run for their money
Hold your heads high
Such a massive improvement in how they've played
Heart broken for the players who's last chance this was
Well done Boks
Hard luck Tim and England fans, you guys were better than us for 95% of that game. Well done on where you guys came from. You leave this cup as a proud top rugby team once more!
Tim, England deserved to win that. Your graciousness towards the Boks is exemplary. I feel for you guys, seriously. I love your channel.
Hard luck Tim. England are the one team who can play the rugby that puts us under pressure like that. Huge credit to you and your team. Love your channel.
The one team? Seriously?
Amazing performance by England! Again the bench made a huge difference for the Boks. Tactical changes at exactly the right time.
But tactics of kicking on 15 repeatedly was wrong ...and we continued for a long time doing just that, where was plan B ...oh Ok BomB squad... sho te veel stress
It’s going to take a few days to digest this and salve the hurt. As an Irishman it has taken me all week to even get to watching a game. Give yourself some time, you are a gentleman and your missives from France have been hugely appreciated. We’ll continue to watch and enjoy the fairest voice in rugby.
Respect Tim for your candid insights into this epic battle. Frustrating rugby at times, but that’s what changing your game plan can do to a team who feel their game is solid in all departments. Respect to England for bringing it tonight.
So proud of the boys. 🌹 That was an immense game and getting 1 point away from a final was more than anyone thought before this tournament. Their scrum eventually got the better of us but what a huge performance from the whole team. Congrats to the Boks and the final will be huge!
I said it last week, I can't believe we won that. But last week was different. That English performance was magnificent. We absolutely stole that. MOM was Steward hands down, pollard did his job but English back three were just outstanding. England were let down by their finishing, Nzl won't be so forgiving.
I love your approach to rugby, no complaining, and giving credit where it is due - well done Tim. It is no wonder that your channel has taken off! :)
Bro your heartache is written on your face and yet you still delivered quality balanced content. This channel has been a massive part of my enjoyment of this World Cup and I think you. Commiserations from Cape Town 🇿🇦
What I learnt today was that Joe Marler CAN SCRUM!!
The personality is just the bonus & not the main characteristic.
Eng have just rebuilt their reputation, well done
